I've been running Aya in my reincarnate deck with nothing but Jade Claws and Jade Lightnings and it's actually been working out pretty well. Both those cards feel really good even without the Jade synergy, so it felt like a small price to pay to include Aya. She's got the N'zoth synergy and she's a decent Ancestral target. You don't end up with the massive 10/10+ golems you get with proper Jade decks, but I find myself consistently dropping the 6's and 7's in control matchups.
I agree that I definitely wouldn't run the full package though. There are too many good deathrattles in wild to be worrying about Jade Spirits and Chieftains.
Serious talk time: If you play Aya in a N'Zoth deck without other Jade Golem cards (or a very limited number of other Jade Golems), is she still good? You get two of her bodies and 4 golems before she's off the table.
Do you play the Nerubian Eggs for the N'Zoth synergy, or are they actually significantly better early tempo? I know that they're powerful, but playing a Defender and two nerfed Rockbiters just to enable them seems less than desirable. Is it really a big improvement over Totem Golems?
Everyone seems to be focusing on how difficult it will be to play this on turn 4, but are completely ignoring the fact that drawing this card late and playing it for super cheap or even for free could be a huge deal too. I can't even see myself being super upset if I end up playing this on turn 5 for 5 mana. I've had worse turns.
I didn't downvote you and I wasn't trying to be negative either. I was just pointing out that having a 100% pick rate in arena is not an indication of a card necessarily being broken, just one that it really consistent and always valuable.
I do like Kirin Tor Mage, but I still think that Mad Scientist is strictly better. They both let you play a secret for free, but Scientist plays a card from your deck while Kirin Tor plays from your hand. That means that with the Scientist you're getting card advantage in addition to tempo. Mad Scientist is just stupid powerful and I wish that Blizzard would come up with a reasonable way to nerf it just a little bit so that it's not quite so ridiculous.
Grrr, I'm so mad that my opponent had to waste his Big Game Hunter on my 4 drop!
Gosh darn, it's so upsetting that I got bad RNG and I only have a 4/6 on turn 4!
Rabble rabble, why would I ever play this over Piloted Shredder!? There's no way I could ever find room in my deck for FOUR 4 drops! The Lorewalker Cho value is WAY TOO IMPORTANT!! RABBLE RABBLE!!!

This card would be busted good if you could choose the targets. It's only the randomness that hurts it.

While I agree that it's arguably the best card in the game, there are tons of cards with 100% arena pick rate.

I never complain when this falls out of a Ram Wrangler, but I wouldn't put it in a deck if you paid me.

I feel bad disenchanting this card, but Krush's spirit will live on in my Ball of Spiders deck!

At least he gets in 8 damage before he dies.

So nice to have the required dust feature to remind me how few legendaries I have.

Does it not bother anyone else that the only card referred to as a weapon in the name is actually a spell instead?

Anyone who tells you should have less than two of these in any given Shaman deck is either sorely mistaken or a liar.
