I feel the need to reiterate what GhostTrickx1 mentioned above.
Despite this being the intended result when clicking on a thread on the front page, it is illogical and, at least for me, has never once been helpful and always precedes me then clicking back to the first page with a slight but growing annoyance.
As already mentioned, it is like reading a book backwards. The latest comments on a decently developed thread often have already deviated from the original post (if not already devolved to mere squabbling and personal attacks) and furthermore, the topic at hand may not even be clear to the interested user as the thread title usually cannot be read in its entirety from the front page. As you scroll up from the latest response, you frequently finds posts that are replies to earlier posts, which are again replies to posts earlier in the thread and so forth. Without first going back to the first page, one would have to go back at least a few pages anyways in order to piece together the "current discussion".
From the perspective of a user whose curiosity is initially piqued by what portion of the thread title can be made out from the front page, this default "moving to the latest response" behavior is not at all desirable and I personally cannot imagine a scenario for which I would appreciate this feature.
Apart from Gadgetzan Auctioneer, and recently Vanish (although now once again relegated to being a meme), 6+ mana cards have never worked out for Rogue and I don't suspect that will change with this.
It's sort of like a semi-situational Choose One card, with the choices being Arcane Shot and Hunter's Mark, with 1 mana being added to the cost for flexibility.
It's cute but it strikes me as just too fair of a card to see play. If control hunter ever becomes a thing, this could be a one-of but even then you're likely better off with Hunter's Mark.
Looks like Drakonid Operative is never leaving us alone until it rotates out of Standard.
Great for a Dragon Priest deck, great for a N'Zoth Priest deck, and just perfect for a Dragon N'Zoth Priest deck.
There weren't enough solid deathrattle minions to push N'Zoth Priest previously, but with the addition of Bone Drake and Obsidian Statue, prospects are looking good. Other N'Zoth decks would die to have four juicy taunt deathrattle minions.
If the meta remains as aggressive as ever and highlander priest finally gets the boost it needs to make it to tier 2, this could be great card in it as it'll often heal for 6 against aggro.
Kabal Talonpriest, Curious Glimmerroot, Tar Creeper, Stonehill Defender and Kabal Courier are the only other playable 3's to choose from, with at least the former 3 likely being staples. If you attempt to build a highlander priest, you'll quickly find that it's rather vulnerable to aggro and will be willing to take any anti-aggro card you can get your hands on.
If highlander priest remains tier 3, this card will likely see zero play in constructed.
On first impression it seems awfully mediocre, but it's actually quite apt as an anti-aggro tool for a highlander priest, especially considering the extremely limited anti-aggro tools a higherlander priest has at its disposal and the only other 1-of 3 drop minions worth considering being Curious Glimmerroot, Kabal Talonpriest, Tar Creeper, Stonehill Defender and Kabal Courier.
Against aggro, this'll often heal for 6. If the upcoming meta features a lot of aggro decks, as it always does, and highlander priest manages to make it to tier 2, I suspect this may be a staple in it. In any other priest deck, however, it'll likely see zero play.
Just kidding. We've still got the issue logged, it just becomes an issue of juggling the priorities. Our devs work on several sites on the network and unfortunately don't get to spend all day on HearthPwn.
I wouldn't expect a resolution until we have the new deckbuilder ready for action. I don't have an ETA for that but it is something that we've been wanting to do for a while now and will soon get an opportunity to look at. A new deckbuilder will solve so many quirks; I personally can't wait.
Oh, a new deckbuilder? That does sound neat.
Thanks for the detailed response. It was just a problem I had been running into very frequently and thought that it would have been an easy fix.
I've been seeing this being used in place of Eggnapper in several popular Aggro Druid builds, but is it really worth it considering that they're useless without buffs? Except against Mage, Eggnapper can put in work just by itself.
Subbing out Barnes for Cairne Bloodhoof sounds solid. I'm just worried that the 4 mana slot might be too weak.
As for Stonehill Defender, I think the value it generates in Shaman is almost as good as it is in Paladin. However, against faster decks the body is just too weak to suffice.
Let me know how those changes work out for you though.
Yeah, I've got to agree with the sentiment that straight up Elemental, Jade or Murloc decks seem awfully boring. I wanted to use the quest but the idea of just throwing a bunch of murlocs in wasn't all that appealing. I ended up with this and it's been a lot of fun, not to mention that it's been doing very well too.
The only problem is that Midrange Shaman doesn't have enough tools to work, Control Shaman is nonexistent, and Elemental Shaman probably doesn't have the room.

This can be well-illustrated by the last page of the following thread, which was on the front page, for which virtually all posts are replies to replies to replies, much of which are just users flaming each other: http://www.hearthpwn.com/forums/hearthstone-general/general-discussion/201378-what-class-thinks-needs-a-buff-what-class-do-you?page=2#c39

Wasn't the whole reason they rotated Ragnaros because it saw universal play and pushed out other 8 drops from consideration?
Not that I'm expecting any consistency.

So is this ever going to get fixed?

Not a bad idea. The only thing I can see myself removing in the deck is Shadow Bolt.

I just realized that this card is perhaps almost, if not just as good in Shaman as it is in Paladin, having Al'Akir the Windlord, White Eyes, Earth Elemental and Thing from Below, with Hot Spring Guardian being the only mediocre pick.
The only problem is that Midrange Shaman doesn't have enough tools to work, Control Shaman is nonexistent, and Elemental Shaman probably doesn't have the room.
