posted a message on Feels so great playing Control Warrior against a Freeze Mage

I am sorry is cancer deck now just a word we use for decks we dont like? Because freeze mage, unlike facehunter, does not dominate the meta (i.e. most played deck), is not cheap to craft and really is not that easy to play, it really isnt that easy to tell which play will be the best each turn and you often have to think 4-5 turns in advance to calculate dmg taken and dmg dealt.

I agree though that control warrior vs freeze mage is possibly the most onesided matchup in the entire game (easily 90% winrate).

posted a message on New Card - Frost Giant

I also first thought this would be great in Handlock but after actually thinking it through im not so sure. For starters this is a late game card (before turn 7 or 8 basically unplayable and against aggro decks where tapping is scarcely done more than once or twice completely unplayable). Unlike mountain which can be played at 4 for insae tempo swings and molten which can be a lifesaver against extreme aggro. So when would frost giant actually be good? => when you want to make power turns in the endgame / powerful combos like shadoflame giant. So unless the meta slows down a lot I dont see at the moment a spot for this card in my handlock (definately prefer the other giants).

Potentially better in shaman or paladin, i can imagine the new totem shaman to be using his hero power a lot.

posted a message on New Card - Volcanic Drake

If you kill 2 minions (1 trade) this card is ok (a bit better than vanilla) if any more die this card is great.

I think this mechanic in general is great for paladins that always have a lot of tokens, I think I start to see a paladin dragon deck forming in my head :D

posted a message on New Card - Drakonid Crusher

I dont see this in an aggro deck. Feels too slow, too expensive (if you havent sealed the game by turn 6 you most likely wont as aggro)

I think this card is great but more for a midrange deck.

ps. why the hell is it a dragon... do i just not see it? xD

posted a message on Cards get NERFED..but why do they not get BUFFED ?

The problem is that many cards that are underused now or never used might become useful in the future with the release of new cards and therefore new synergies. (for example sea giant in zoolock, before implosion got introduced it was unthinkable to run that card in most competitive decks, there are others but cant think of em right now)

Same goes for legendaries: In an incredibly beast oriented meta i can imagine nesingway to be in some decks (although I have to admit that its a bit of a stretch. Illidan could also be seen in a demonlock deck if we get to see some more demon synergies. Flame Leviathan could work in a minionless deck and millhouse might be playable in a spell card weak meta. Just because cards are underpowered now doesnt mean they have to stay like that in a future meta with new cards.

posted a message on A question to Legend ranked players.

In my opinion everything under rank 5 doesnt tell too much since you can get to rank 5 by just grinding even with a low win rate (thanks to the winstreak bonus). After rank5 is when the real laddering for legend begins in my opinion and before you play on that level successfully you will never know. I'd say if you can reach rank 3 you can probably also hit legend if you invest enough time. (I never went past rank 2 but I also very rarely play more than 3-4 matches a day)

posted a message on un-nerf Nat Pagle?

Just from a pure lore perspective it wouldnt make sense: its a card with a name how can their be two of it in one deck? (correct me if im wrong but i cant think of any non legendary card that refers to one named individual)

Also from a game perspective I like him as a legendary, its a gimmicky card, not all cards need to be better than average (since that is a contradiction in itself).

posted a message on Why I think pure aggro deck is the curse to hearthstone.

Aggro will always exist because its just a perfectly viable tactic.

=> You build your deck for lategame control and have no cards for the early game? Well guess what a good counter for that deck would be? exactly an aggro deck abusing exactly the weakness of that deck. Aggro will always exist since it will always be the "cheapest" "fastest" to play cards and that is by definition a relative term.

I would find the game incredibly boring without aggro (and I myself almost exclusively play control decks, like cw, freeze mage, handlock, or midgame pally). I dont know why so many people hate facing them, you also need a viable strategy to beat aggro players and just as much thinking.

posted a message on When you netdeck are YOU truly playing?

I have been driving and building cars since the 80s and not once have I ever been compelled to search the web for a "manual" to help me win in tournaments. The point of a car race is to come up with your own unique combination of car pieces and put them together, that is how new cars get discovered and how the meta of these types of tournaments improve. When you have the vast majority of drivers using clones of pro cars, however, you get a stagnant meta as we have now where people only drive the "best car" of that current year. I don't get how these drivers gain any joy from what is essentially them being a professional driver proxy at best, I mean really when you win with a car some company came up with, its almost like you aren't driving at all because so much of the sport is how you structure your car. I am sure some drivers are content driving whatever the pros do, but it just seems like a terrible idea to me. Your idea isn't winning, a pro's idea is winning for you. I hope this wakes up some of the better drivers here and gets them to try more innovative cars as I routinely do. This will help diversify the meta and give you an actual sense of accomplishment when you win with a car you actually had to come up with. Crazy concept right ;)

See the point im trying to make? Building a deck and playing with one are too entirely different things (Just like engineers designing a new car are doing something entirely different than the one driving it). I for one enjoy playing with fine tuned decks that have some nice synergies and dont find it that much fun to construct a deck, I rather play with them and you dont get to tell people what "the point of a game is" the point is to have fun and for some people that might be something else than what you think.

ps. seriously?: "I'm off, I'm going to go and hang out with my many friends and go party/smoke weed, fuck yall im out!".... dude grow up kid your impressing nobody.
