Assassinate and Recycle aren't good so neither is entomb...
Yup I can't see Entomb making the cut. It'll see play for a few weeks and just die off. Too slow.
First of all Rouge and Druid aren't control classes. Secondly this is strictly better than Recycle and a lot better than assassinate. Third, Priest wants to play the slow game and is very capable of making it get there.
In a typical aggro match it won't be that great but Priest still has tons of ways to handle aggro no problem.
Where it'll shine is in the control/midrange match as OP stated. Priest was already pretty good against CW with double death and lightbomb, now it can straight up steal one of its threats. I also like the sound of stealing any of Druid's goodies (like a claw, which priest otherwise struggles to deal with). Stealing highmanes from midrange hunters is pretty nasty too. Maybe a sneed's if you ever get some weird non-meta deck.
tl;dr it's a fantastic card for priest, to call this a slow or bad card is showing ignorance of card game fundamentals
Good question, it looks like there are other decks that outclass it completely in multiple ways, I guess the scarab is supposed to be the trump card in control mirrors because of the flexibility it offers. Still doesn't look good though. But that's the best shaman can do.

Just goes to show how bad blizzard is at balancing their card game when the biggest buff to a class is giving them a chance to have access to things they normally can't have (new hero power, reliable 3 drop)
I hate playing against mage. Mirror entity is the stupidest bullshit to play around. I hate having to tech in a Kezan every time I lose to a mage because they have no skill and hide behind it. Then of course when I do, I don't play another mage for 20 games, and even then I never draw the stupid thing.
So this is basically a crap half-control half-midrange deck with gromash as a finisher. Seems very inconsistent to me, but like with anything else if you grind hard enough you can get legend with it, I give it a 3/10

Astral communication is cute but having 10 mana doesn't matter a lot if you can only play 1 card per turn. Any combo or finely tuned tempo or face deck will just ignore your threats and kill you.
Notice how the above changes play on curve anyway. The astral communication basically lets you hero power each turn at the loss of card advantage. It sounds OP on paper for this brawl but it's one of the most overrated cards in the game, as druids lack card draw outside of Cult Master in a token druid deck.
1) every legend player grinds many hours a day to get legend and dont get higher than 60% winrate, dont expect instant legend especially with a hard deck like this
2) this likely isn't the deck he used to climb. the title is clickbait as most "rank 1" decks are - notice how he advertises his stream at the end......
1) it was also killing a death's bite which warriors can get a ton of value out of, via pain card draw, patron spawns, frothing buffs, armorsmith armor
2) straight up killing it denies card draw which is worth it in a combo vs control match

And it's only common, so the golds are cheap to craft.

Combo priest is already a decent deck.
If battlecry decks become meta, it'll give combo priests incentive to play Nerub'ar Weblord which has stats that fit well with what combo priest does.
Sadly this will never be competitive unless someone brews something fantastic. That's just the state of hearthstone with so few cards I guess :(

This is by far the most cancerous brawl. It took me 10 games to get the pack. This is the worst possible brawl for unlucky people, or close to it.

To keep up, this deck needs 2x Sludge Belcher and at least 1 Sunwalker, subbing out dr boom, Troggzor the Earthinator and 1 Ancient of Lore to have a better chance of getting an Ancient of War on turn 7.
