    Lord Jaraxxus

No, I do not need a sixth Jaraxxus.  F you Blizzard.

Let's set a standard that people don't know about.  So when others don't follow our standards we can sneer at them and call them rude.

posted a message on [Curse of Naxxramas] Scrambled Eggs (Deathrattle Zoo)

I'd say it isn't Zoo.  It shouldn't be Zoo, it shouldn't try.

I'd say Zoo works like this - you put durable minions on the board, then pop on attack buffs.  When you attack buff a 1-drop minion to kill a 4-drop minion, you have higher cost efficiency.  There's other little dynamics in there like 1-drop Shieldbearer sucking up most attacks from 2-3 drops allowing key minions to survive.

So you start adding stuff like Leper Gnome, Undertaker, Nerubian Egg - you start screwing with that base dynamic.  Instead of Flame Imp for early attack power, Shieldbearer for durability, Amani Berserker and other tech, you're left with . . . what?  Not that characteristic dynamic.  The deck is slower.  That means you're going to need to think about opponent burst finisher combos and other shenanigans.

Personally I'm going to try using Loot Hoarder and a bunch of higher-cost minions, shift away from weenie aggro.  Ancient Watcher, Sunfury Protector, like "handlock toolbox" or some pretentious name.  But that's a bit besides the point - what I'm saying, again, is not that the OP deck is bad or whatever, but just that I don't think it fits into the "zoo" archetype.

(shrug) but whatever it's not important what it's called.  (orders five pounds of chicken, gets five pounds of turkey)  >.>

posted a message on I *hate* the current meta-game.

Yeah . . . played against a Priest with double Mind Control, Paladin with lots of late-game lifegain and no early game.  And I figured - you know, I'm going to win anyways.  Why play a 30 minute game when you can do clean and easy in 5 minutes?

    It's just that simple.

    Brief writeup:

    Watch Kolento play at http://www.twitch.tv/kolento

Kolento's used a lot of different builds over time to work with changing meta.  This version is pretty heavy on drawing (double Shiv, double Fan of Knives), featuring Spell Power and draw cards (Thalnos, Azure Drake), and has a lot of flexibility (Coldlight Oracle for draw, Earthen Ring Farseer for healing, Leeroy for burst damage, plus Shadowstep allowing multiple use of (x) card in the appropriate situation.)

There is only one Conceal, as protecting Gadgetzan is not necessarily a "key" play; likewise there is only one Cold Blood, as it's a rather situational play that requires board presence that can't be guaranteed with this build.

The win conditions are 1) famous burst with Leeroy into Shadowstep, 2) small advantages built off Gadgetzan, 3) attrition off Van Cleef, which can be healed with Earthen Ring, or Shadowstep -ed to recast at full health (or even to get bigger), *along* with the board presence and early removal of Backstab & Co.

The win conditions change with each matchup, for example Van Cleef can't be counted on against Shaman with their Hex, and usually a win won't come from straight out abuse of any *one* win condition, but a *combination* of them.  For example, you may remove early enemy minions with board control and do some attrition with your early game minions, then drop Gadgetzan into drawing into small advantages, and finish with Leeroy.

(Update 6/12/14) Kolento's current version runs -1 Earthen Ring Farseer, +1 Sap.

Seriously how do you fight against this bull crap?

You're so tilted, you can't even see straight.

you are forced to play Spirit Wolves or risk losing board control

Wrong.  You are never "forced" to do anything.  You CHOOSE to do things.

Lose the victim mentality, flexr.  I know you have a brain, I've seen some of your other posts.
