fonspark posted a message on Miracle Rogue is the worst, please helpPosted in: General DiscussionWait what so you aren't the streamer whose name is Drake22 and he always wear a lion hat? O.o
Standard ramp druid is 50-50 vs miracle. Handlock is ok as well but no way better than 50% winrate vs miracle. Backspace rogue, uh dunno I don't like that deck Q_Q
Tbh, Kitkaz version of ctrl warrior works fine, but I believe Tides version has an edge to consider as well. With Ysera you can burst sht out of nowhere with 18 dmg Korkron Face Nightmare, or 15 dmg Awaken Gromash. Not to mention Argus + anything with 4 or more hp will instantly spell trouble to miracle.
Im legend rank 150, but I do listen to people who haven't reached legend as well. It's not like legend=quality insight or something 100%

ContentsMayVary posted a message on Would you play Casual Draft mode?Posted in: General DiscussionQuote from TurnOneCleric »Quote from ContentsMayVary »So, that being said, I don't understand why people would ever stop playing arenas if this were to be implemented. Why would you stop trying to earn rewards just because you could a play draft mode that doesn't have them? That's what I'm not following because in my mind, that makes 0 sense.
A lot of people pretty much only play arena, and they only play Casual games to get gold to enter the arena.
Why would those people spend gold to enter arena when they can play for free instead?
because you can win MORE gold by playing the 'paid' version. surely you can understand that.
If the only reason I want gold is to enter arenas, then if a free version of the arena is available I don't need gold any more, do I?
Read what I wrote: "A lot of people pretty much only play arena, and they only play Casual games to get gold to enter the arena."

Fortheundercity posted a message on No Turn 3 play, do you drop SI:7 without the combo?Posted in: RogueSo many variables in this question, here are a few;
* What hero is your opponent playing?
* What deck is your opponent playing?
* How many "combo" cards do you have in your deck ? / The probability of drawing what you need next turn ?
* Does he have any minions on the field?
* Can you afford to lose SI7's value by just dropping him as a 3/3 ?
The list goes on... It's difficult to give you an answer for this question as it depends on so many factors.
Though, if it helps, sometimes I'll play SI:7 Agent turn 3 with no battlecry, most the time I'll wait though.

Let's set a standard that people don't know about. So when others don't follow our standards we can sneer at them and call them rude.

I'd say it isn't Zoo. It shouldn't be Zoo, it shouldn't try.
I'd say Zoo works like this - you put durable minions on the board, then pop on attack buffs. When you attack buff a 1-drop minion to kill a 4-drop minion, you have higher cost efficiency. There's other little dynamics in there like 1-drop Shieldbearer sucking up most attacks from 2-3 drops allowing key minions to survive.
So you start adding stuff like Leper Gnome, Undertaker, Nerubian Egg - you start screwing with that base dynamic. Instead of Flame Imp for early attack power, Shieldbearer for durability, Amani Berserker and other tech, you're left with . . . what? Not that characteristic dynamic. The deck is slower. That means you're going to need to think about opponent burst finisher combos and other shenanigans.
Personally I'm going to try using Loot Hoarder and a bunch of higher-cost minions, shift away from weenie aggro. Ancient Watcher, Sunfury Protector, like "handlock toolbox" or some pretentious name. But that's a bit besides the point - what I'm saying, again, is not that the OP deck is bad or whatever, but just that I don't think it fits into the "zoo" archetype.
(shrug) but whatever it's not important what it's called. (orders five pounds of chicken, gets five pounds of turkey) >.>

Just sayin lol.

Yeah . . . played against a Priest with double Mind Control, Paladin with lots of late-game lifegain and no early game. And I figured - you know, I'm going to win anyways. Why play a 30 minute game when you can do clean and easy in 5 minutes?
It's just that simple.

Upvote the deck if you think Kolento's awesome.
Brief writeup:
Watch Kolento play at http://www.twitch.tv/kolento
Kolento's used a lot of different builds over time to work with changing meta. This version is pretty heavy on drawing (double Shiv, double Fan of Knives), featuring Spell Power and draw cards (Thalnos, Azure Drake), and has a lot of flexibility (Coldlight Oracle for draw, Earthen Ring Farseer for healing, Leeroy for burst damage, plus Shadowstep allowing multiple use of (x) card in the appropriate situation.)
There is only one Conceal, as protecting Gadgetzan is not necessarily a "key" play; likewise there is only one Cold Blood, as it's a rather situational play that requires board presence that can't be guaranteed with this build.
The win conditions are 1) famous burst with Leeroy into Shadowstep, 2) small advantages built off Gadgetzan, 3) attrition off Van Cleef, which can be healed with Earthen Ring, or Shadowstep -ed to recast at full health (or even to get bigger), *along* with the board presence and early removal of Backstab & Co.
The win conditions change with each matchup, for example Van Cleef can't be counted on against Shaman with their Hex, and usually a win won't come from straight out abuse of any *one* win condition, but a *combination* of them. For example, you may remove early enemy minions with board control and do some attrition with your early game minions, then drop Gadgetzan into drawing into small advantages, and finish with Leeroy.
(Update 6/12/14) Kolento's current version runs -1 Earthen Ring Farseer, +1 Sap.

You're so tilted, you can't even see straight.
Wrong. You are never "forced" to do anything. You CHOOSE to do things.
Lose the victim mentality, flexr. I know you have a brain, I've seen some of your other posts.
