    RDU was using a mech-oriented highlander hunter deck not running the secret package - so you could get around rat trap and subject 9.

    zu jin and zephrys are obviously great additions to the deck so just try of you like the deck without and craft them if you like it

     

    probably you are fine without siamat as you have brann on 7, also ragnaros on 8 and call of the wild on 9 help smoothing out the curve

    i dont see major mistakes in your gameplay.

    mulligans are fine

    game 1 choosing annoy-o over pompeus turn 3 is a slower approach to the game. and as arena is mostly tempo based i would have taken a different route. also cult master over piloted shredder is debatable tempo wise. your turn 8 was too slow aswell, i would have preferred going for the firelands to get some pressure off his side of the board instead of taunting up giving your opponent the trade-initiative. you effectively traded 2 taunts and a whole turn for 1 minion and a weapon swing. think you could have taken the risk of tanking dmg to the face especially with kraken the next turn to remove a minion

    if at all, you are a little bit too risk averse especially in the 2nd game not using firelands portal earlier. i think the 2-roll on the implosion instead of firelands might have cost you the game. also big bad archmage was played too late imo.

    game 3 turn 13 shoulda ping + trade first and then bomber probably. the deadly shot kraken was unlucky, it was still the right play though

    all in all you are playing a more value-oriented game choosing "safer" options thus giving your opponent time to recover instead of taking an aggressive turn to seize initiative an pressuring your opponent. id say: play more aggressive to set your opponents on a clock and make them spend their ressources in an inefficient manner.

    Isn't that pretty much exactly the same thing? Cost 1 discount 3 and cost 0 discount 2 both equal a 2 mana discount lol - or were you talking about making it cost 1 AND discount to 2 ? So pretty much innervate lol

     it might look like exactly the same thing, it is not though. you much rather have a 0 cost prep that reduces by 2 than a 1 cost prep that reduces by 3.

    if you prep eviscerate for example you spend 0 mana in the first example and 1 in the latter. also for comboing 0 mana cards are much much stronger than having 1 extra mana floating around to even start it.

    on turn 3 while not having the coin it makes a huge difference for edwin if your prep costs 0 or 1 for example

    did you try using the "new" inbuilt deck completion feature?

    it's usually a good starting point for finding the most viable decks with your collection. sometimes it build crap like shirvallah otk pala without baleful bankers but more often than not it builds solid decks

    to use the feature just create a new deck with any of the classes and before adding any cards let HS complete the deck for you

    tempo rogue is a really good deck atm and if nerfs happen you will at least partially get the dust back

    i personally am a fan of crafting the core cards of the deck (like waggle pick and raiding party) and find replacements for other of the expensive cards

    Tempo rogue has

    good minion pressure,

    good tempo comebacks with sap/backstab,

    situationally useful discovered cards from other classes and

    tons of burst with not only but noticeably waggle pick + leeroy (2 cards 14 dmg)

     Right now I've been jumping between ranks 14-15 on NA. As for the enemies, I've been going against Warrior(Bomb and Control), Other Rogues, Token Druid, and Mech Hunter. I think the most common ones are Warrior and Hunter, however there is still a decent amount of druid. I also do use a deck tracker.

    I would love it if you could watch a couple games and offer more specific advice. My battlenet is Jewlteon#1125

     i see many one-ofs in the list, you might want to decide which of these cards to use 2 of and which cards to cut to generally increase the consistency of your draws. also i don't see a real win condition in the deck except for outlasting your opponents and maybe hakkar. basically you are giving midrange decks too much time as you don't seem be able to pressure them. also i don't feel like 6 one-drops justify running liam but i might be wrong here.

    i didn't playtest the deck myself so take the advice with a grain of salt.

    this looks like a subpar budget version of a very slow beast-midrange hunter to me. i don't wanna sound harsh but you should probably let hearthstone autocomplete a hunter deck if you want to play more a viable deck.

    if you want criticism for your deck creation i would suggest choosing one route and commit to it.

    either you go for 2 beastmasters. in this case you should probably include more draw cards like flare, tracking or cult master.

    or as others already suggested go full beast and add masters call.

    if you wanna go the scarab-egg route with buffing resilient deathrattle minions i'd suggest adding highmane, nine lives, spider bomb... alternatively you could start making a deathrattle mech hunter deck including cards like fireworks tech and ursatron.


    in general cards like starving buzzard and stonetusk boar are just not good enough to be included without needing them for a specific gameplan. if you include starving buzzard just to cycle you are probably better off putting in loot hoarders
