I have seen the rise and fall of many great civilizations,
And I wonder these lands to share my wisdom,
Yet these mortal minds can never be changed.
With knowledge comes power, and with power comes envy.
And alas the the circle is once again complete.
To live, to learn, to kill...
The greatest loss in all of creation,
The possibilities that had never happened.
I definitely tried for something a little more obscure and that actually has some lore behind it. Overall I don't think its too hard, but not painfully obvious. (BTW I absolutely love the riddle treasure hunts, first reading the Redwall series, many many years ago. I always thought that beautiful poetry and riddles along with a treasure hunt to be just fascinating.
Be sure to quite a post or refer your guesses to me by name so I know which hunt your referring to.
All men dream, but not equally. Those who dream by night in the dusty recesses of their minds, wake in the day to find that it was vanity: but the dreamers of the day are dangerous men, for they may act on their dreams with open eyes, to make them possible. - T. E. Lawrence
Nope, sorry =) Hint: Class Minion (not sure if any rules were set in regards to whether it has to be neutral or not.

I suppose that does semi-sudo fit the idea, but no. Your getting much closer, especially with idea of the two minions, the answer being one half.

Boom, you got it =) Good one, and of course ancient of War is his exact counterpart in terms of philosophy. Did you find my riddle well fitting, or rather just too opaque?

It was great, took some time to get, but when the druid hint came, it was quite clear. Heres the next one:

I am what many deserve to be,
though the price I had to pay was high.
People say I inspire the troops
and maybe they're right,
even the sight of heroes like me
push me to fight until my last breath.

It was a good one, once I saw the dagger she was carrying, that made me sure.
Definite bonus points for being very poetic about it. I actually liked that description.
