I always play these the same way play one until you win. So Tracker took forever. Ive been back its so random you can lose so easily if you pick one wrong draft, just lucked out in the end.
The rest pretty straightforward choose wisely and you know you can win. How does this compare to your experiences ?
I only recently started playing hearthstone so it took me quite a few tries with most of the heroes (especially tracker). It got a lot easier though once I got a good feel for how the AI works and got better at predicting how it will prioritize attacking minions that don't have taunt.
Tracker: 170 (got screwed by face collector, gnomenapper and the final boss so many times, my number is slightly inflated though because I quit after the first boss probably 20 or so times when I didn't get one of the good treasures (Cult of the Wolf, sticky fingers or Crystal gem).
Houndmaster: 53
Cannoneer: 57
Toki: 8 (completed two runs with her in 20 games, super easy if you get the double spell treasure with spell dmg buffs)
Houndmaster and Cannoneer I beat on the first run, but had to play each hero a second time because I was out of order on the quests. I found Tess to be toughest, until I beat her final boss on the second or third try with some knowledge of what was coming. Toki I was the most unlucky getting Azalina 3-4 times as a mid-boss without the right cards to counter. Hagatha is extremely easy, but I recommend completing each hero twice, because you'll get different final bosses.

By attempts, do you mean number of matches=bosses or number of entire runs before you died?:o Anyway, CG :)

Everyone completed this months ago though.

Considering that Monster Hunt hasn't even been available for 2 whole months yet, your statement is dead wrong.
It really depends on your luck in drafting cards.
I completed Monster hunt in:
6 or 7 runs with Tess
Shaw and Crowley in 3 runs
Toki in 1 run
and Hagatha also in 1 run.
