Been playing this up to rank 20-7 in wild, I noticed I have a lot of trouble with egg druid and pirate warrior. I can understand pirate warrior being bad since I don't have any healing and they have a lot of direct damage with spells and charge minions. Egg druid can be pretty tough too since that matchup is all about board control (and topdecking Consecration after they Soul of the Forest). Do I have 1 too many big drops in this deck in either Dr. Boom or Ragnaros the Firelord that I should replace for more early game? The Anyfin Can Happen can provide 19 burst damage if I've played all my murlocs which is generally enough to finish off control decks if they have stabilized.
For my weapons, I'm already running 2x 3-cost cards, should i find space or replace one of them with Muster for Battle since it provides instant board presence, but isn't as good of a pickup in the mid/late game?
Overall, I really love the deck. It's a ton of fun to play and pretty good. The Finja, the Flying Star is super convenient for thinning my deck, but with the Anyfin Can Happen it's not game ending if I don't get value off him which a lot of the "water" decks suffer from. Just a little help would be appreciated if anyone has suggestions. :)
I just put this deck together and it destroys PW. Beat a few control decks as well although I need to test it more. I play more than one deck as it is impossible to make a deck to counter everything.
I believe a midrange Paladin deck should use Grimestreet Protectors. I made a midrange (standard) paladin deck, and this card is a true game-closer.
Also, you deck seems pretty inconsistent with many 1-ofs. A common 'mistake' in deckbuilding (in my opinion) is a deck being a bit too much all over the place; Allow to do some heavy cutting and adding to your deck.
Ragnaros, Lightlord serves as a heal because we are such a heavy deck. Might also want to add 1 Forbidden Healing, but I'm quite unsure about that. May i suggest you try your list with my adjustments, and let me know how it worked out?
I´ve just hit Rank 5 with mostly Egg Druid and some Renolock. I see Paladin as a VERY disfavored machup against Egg, due to the lack of early game board control, and lots og 1 attack early minnions which keeps giving me 2/1 dragons. The way I see, if you face too many eggs, you should change decks, its very hard matchup.
That sayd, I don´t see the point of the Echoing Ooze in your deck. since you only have 6 cards to combo with it (Argus, Protector, Keeper amnd Hammer), and all of them too slow to make it work. Egg druid runs it because it has lots of 1 and 2 mana buffs, as well as Savage Roar to benefit from lots of small minnions.
As a Paladin, you should defenettly run 2x Muster for Battle. It is a great early board control tool. You could also run Ivory Knights, for some turn 6 heals, as well as a possibility to dig for answersand/or another Anyfin. You could also double your chance of consecration putting another one.
I don´t see the point of that much late game. I´d cut Boom AND Rag. Even if you miss all the cool fire and explosions, your late game should be charging murlocs to the face. In that regard, I´d run 2x Anyfin.
I would remove the Argent Horserider since you have already 2 Charges in Bluegill Warriors. Also cut the Argent Squire and Argent Protector and add 2 Mistress of Mixtures or Zombie Chows. 2 Concetration could be really helpfull and maybe 1 or 2 Equality. Concider removing some of the late game big minions or just one of them to add a Lightlord for the heal. Also Muster for Battle is a sick card and you should tech it in. Truesilver Champion is a better weapon since it slices down Azure drakes, Totem Golems, Tomb pillagers, Frothing bersekers etc.

8 cards synergize with Echoing Ooze, which is by no means a huge amount (especially since some of them are really slow), but it does do a lot of good work vs pirate warrior where my 2 drop can likely kill 2 minions on turn 3. If I can gain the board and start using argus/wickerflame/sludge/tirion they dont have enough damage from spells to win. Egg druid I might just have to concede to because they can buff and make a board very sticky in no time. I think I have like 40% winrate vs them, but I thankfully have only run into a few.
Ivory Knight is too slow for a midrange deck in pretty much every circumstance. I feel it would only make sense in a slower buffadin deck, which I'm not. To fit Muster/Truesilver I would have to ditch at least one of my current weapons and Rallying Blade has a lot of synergy with my deck. Truesilver is a really good card in control paladin, but I often need the 3 damage on 3 to trade into flametongue, mana tide, tunnel trogg, egg druid minion, mana wyrm, twilight whelp, si:7 and such. I really don't see very many rogue so pillager isn't that big of an issue, where frothing can be a bitch if I've lost the board. I guess Coghammer is the one to drop. While it does protect my board really well, 2 attack on turn 3 really isn't very strong and the 3x tokens from Muster for Battle might be more valuable.
I am open to removing 1 of my late game minions, but I don't like the idea of 2x Anyfin Can Happen since I'm not a control deck. If I have drawn both of them in the early game I likely lose while I don't need the OTK to finish off control decks.

Argent Horserider are very nice for cleaning up the board while not dying. They have synergy with Rallying Blade and the more divine shields I have the harder it is for mage, priest, paladin and Renolock to deal with my board which can easily be game winning. I would like a second Consecration but it doesn't always do very much without equality, which I am not running. Grimestreet Protector might be a worthy replacement for boom since he makes my board a little more sticky which is very nice. Without equality + pyro/consecration I can't really afford to lose the board most of the time unless I can reclaim it with chargers.

Uugh..didnt mean to double post and my text all got deleted. Short version, I will be trying out Grimestreet Protector for Dr. Boom Maayybe removing Echoing Ooze because I don't feel like crafting a second, and removing Argent Squire because I agree there is no point in running a single copy of it, I was considering that myself after playing yesterday.
I just made a Midrange Paladin deck myself, because I felt like it after reading this thread. Currently 8-0 with it, winstreaking really smoothly. If you want to know what it looks like, just hit me up (PM or in this thread) and I'll post it.
If you're not interested I won't take the time to write all of the cards ;)

please do share! always nice to collaborate and see what changes are working for other people that I could try out
This is the list I made, currently 12-0 with it on ladder (surprising myself as well) I don't have Lightlord, so I put in Firelord. Also, did not yet have a game in which I had to play N'zoth, but I think he fits quite nicely. The deck differs quite a bit from yours; it doesn't have the anyfin package, and doesn't have divine shield synergy. However, it does curve extremely well, and hold initiative.
Justicar is amazing with quartermaster! even alone it will just destroy control priest/warrior. I originally ran N'zoth before I went win the murloc package just because its so damn fun. Do you have any issues with running 11 deathrattles when you can only spawn 6? I originally had Cairne Bloodhoof because he is so damn good in n'zoth decks and midrange decks or do you find Sylvanas Windrunner better because its amazing vs control?
Well, I only had to play N'zoth a single time (won because of it).
Only things i need to get back from it are belchers and preferably Tirion, the rest is bonus. So that's 3 deathrattles I really want to get back. So no issues so far. :)
I don't have Cairne Bloodhoof, but personally never had too much respect for that card in terms of it's cost vs. stats. Sylvannas > Cairne IMO
Similar to me in a way. Only used anyfin once, but it did save the game against hunter who had just CotW and was threatening lethal (got 3 murlocs out of it!) Its really only used as extra burst if I've somehow run out of steam.

With the current list I've actually done pretty good vs egg druid. think i'm 5-1, which is still a small sample size. Grimestreet Protector has been the mvp of that matchup once we hit the late stages of topdecking. They all came down to whether i could win the board before second Soul of the Forest came down or not pretty much.

How about:
-1 Argent Squire
-1 Argent Protector
-1 Ragnaros the Firelord
-1 Rallying Blade
-1 Divine Favor (your deck is too heavy for this card to function properly I assume)
-1 Echoing Ooze
-1 Blessing of Kings
+1 Anyfin Can Happen (Second Anyfin means potential OTK so...)
+2 Grimestreet Protector
+1 Ragnaros, Lightlord
+2 Truesilver Champion
+1 Consecration
Ragnaros, Lightlord serves as a heal because we are such a heavy deck. Might also want to add 1 Forbidden Healing, but I'm quite unsure about that. May i suggest you try your list with my adjustments, and let me know how it worked out?
