Jesus Christ, so much hate in this thread. Let me remind you all, that if it was not for Reno you would be all uninstalling the game since april last year - dragon warrior, midrange/aggro shaman, face hunter, tempo mage. All these decks ended games turn 7-10 what is fun and interactive about that? Just go face, don't trade, put million burn spells in the decks, charge minions, broken deathrattle minions, saying aggro is healthy for the game is as dumb as saying, and i quote, "all children with cancer are ment to die"
The hilarious thing I find about Reno players is that they still imagine there's an element of surprise when they drop him :D The amount of times this week alone that a Reno opponent paused for an age before dropping him, then spamming "well played" or "Whoops" or "Greetings" - I really wish there was a "Meh" emoticon in game. Seriously, the 'surprise' wore off within the first few days of Reno's release. WE KNOW!! ... Didn't you notice me build up a nice healthy board to knock you back to 15 right after??
[I play Reno decks now and then btw, not knocking them, just the players who do this nonsense]
So why do you play a fucking card game? I can't understand this "win more games per hour" mentality, I just don't get it. This is a card game that should be interactive (for both sides), not a fucking solitaire with less brain work, because that's how face decks work.
I want to know something. Why are you so desesperate for wins? Did you ever win something in your life? Because it seems that the average aggro player is a fucking retarded that is desesperately for wins cuz that's their only way to prove to themselves that they are good at something in their pathetics lifes. And the funny part is that they play a fucking brainless decks that doesnt require any kind of thinking nor effort... And yeah, I'm salty af with this players, not because i can't win against them, it's because i want to have fun, and playing against this retards that doesnt know anything but go face isnt fun at all.
PD: Forgive me for my manners, but i'm so tired of this mindless aggro bs, you are the reason for why I have uninstalled this game the last month. Even so, I reached rank legend the last season with my own reno mage, it was a meaninless and boring experience...
PD2: I'm a taco/burrito speaker, so please can someone tell me if a did a lot of mistakes?
Welcome back my friend,it has been a while since the last time i saw you post.As for your use of english it's pretty good for a burrito speaker! :D .The only mistakes i found is the use of ''this'' instead of ''these'' ,the ''s'' on the adjectives(there are no plural adjectives) ,an a that shouldn't be there(on the 7th line) and the the word desperately(you wrote desesperately). However i am not a native english speaker myself so maybe i missed something.Anyway welcome back again.
man got to love the renoloves hate of aggro. All we see is insults to people who play aggro. You reno players are so classy. Can't wait till he rotates out
as usual Reno and idiot greedy deck player insulting other class. Ask Nerf for all the deck. Even the azure drake also said too op. Need Nerf. They really brainless.
I ok with Reno deck player but really hate the retard greedy deck player(20 legendary+10 spell or Reno deck greedy list add in other 10 legendary) they loses 90% of games and come here ask Nerf for all the card except the greedy legendary.

i thought it was just me that noticed they insult everyone screaming for nerfs
Yea this meta is the worst by far, not because it doesn't require skill to win, but because there are few types of decks and anything that is not meta is complete garbage.
Dear Blizzard, stop making overpowered 1 drops, stop making cards that make the game 100% based on RNG (Yogg, Reno etc), stop making aggro cards for Paladin. Thanks bye.
I kept seeing Reno decks all over the ladder, so I dropped a Beneath the Grounds in my rogue deck. Not a perfect solution, but tends to slow them down a little...

Renolock is pretty damn versatile at the moment, capable of having multiple win conditions and different ways of playing depending on your opponent. If I'm facing druid, I apply more tempo and pressure. If I'm playing reno mirrors, I hold back and wait for Brann/dirty rat/mct things. If I'm facing aggro, mulligan hard for reno, kazakus, mixtures. If I'm facing rogue, I apply more pressure and taunts. My climb to rank 5 had a positive win rate against every class except renolock mirrors at a 50/50 split.
Renopriest so far just seems like an inferior renolock, and renomage, while better against aggro, is slightly unfavored against renolock (40-19 record this season).
I'd love to see a renopriest/mage/CW tech in coldlight oracle at this point though.

How is Reno 100% based on RNG?
It's the fact that the decks are inconsistent and apart from warlock the card draw is inconsistent.

The 1st step towards a better game is firing Mike Donais! We had enough of his "skillful" balances!
MSoG launched, Pirate Warrior became the main hype, followed by Jade Druid. And was Jade Druid the thing scaring control away, but it performed quite bad against full face aggro. Only Dragon Priest was in a mid term place. Reno priest was seen, but still questionable...
Mage sucked, Rogue haven't got anything good so will be bad, ... And the best hope against aggro was Renolock, yet still a toss.
Control was dead already.
Only by late December the current meta started to shape up. Reno Mage had a potential after all, actually was performing great,...
It's so stupid people complaining about two cards, when there's a deck that can deal 7 damage on turn 2, or even up to 9 with coin, adding up to 10 counting with turn 1 patches charge... 1/3 of full hero HP BY TURN 2. Is that balanced?
It wasn't "Renodecks" pushing aggro, was the other way around. If renodecks were the most popular thing, then Jade Druid would rise up, not get into oblivion because it does overall good against renos. But the reality is, Jade Druid get eaten by pirates.
The real question is after rotation Kazakus will be enough to carry this kind of deck? I don't think so, but Reno decks will become stronger and stronger in wild, so many cards and expansions the no duplicate condition don't be a huge disavantage anymore.
I do tech Coldlight in RenoMage, its great vs Renlock and other Reno decks, can totally screw them or win you an unwinable game vs Jaraxxus when near fatigue thanks to Brann.
you cant play it vs Aggro but if you need draw in that MU you are kind of dead already.
The meta is shaped around Patches and Kazakus. Control decks lose to Brann Kazakus, Midrange decks lose to Reno Jackson and Jade Druid can beat Reno and Control decks.
The only outlier is Dragon Priest, but it has the Drakonid Op that gives them a fighting chance against Control decks by stealing their win conditions.
Nah Reno Jackson isnt a auto win agaisnt pirate warrior, you want to know how to win agaisnt a pirate warrior ? You make them be on top deck situation, have an empty board and play Reno Jackson Aggro decks lose because they run out of resources quickly, if they have Arcanite Reaper + 2 or 3 cards with charge or burst they will win, i had games where shit like that happened even with 4 taunts, 3 heals and Reno and as for Kazakus when played agaisnt a pirate warrior most of the time just saves you at max just 2 turns (5 man potion) it's a a boost yeah but isnt even close their weapons cards.
True, I was checking my tracker and I even have a positive winrate against SMOrc warrior with Dragon Priest (and should be an unfavorable matchup for me), No Reno, No Kazakus. Dragon Priest beats is favorable against Aggro Shaman (the most powerful aggro), no Reno and no Kazakus. And what's the deck that has best statistical advantage against face warrior? Aggro shaman, another no Reno and no Kazakus, despite being a nasty deck too, at least requires some skill to setup the aggression. Most reno decks are actually a coin flip against the "power creepy early game" warrior.
The thing is, many less skilled salty players saw the pirates as the messiahs that would rise them to legend heaven. But, with some early game resistance and damage mitigation, they run out of steam, and then they get mad because there's an evil scapegoat out there countering them, and that's unfair, because they picked the, what they believe as, the passport to where their skill can't lead them to. So they flood the internet with their salty tears of despair and unleash their anger. Even though, an unskilled player can get easy rank 5 with it if they put enough volume, and 5 minutes games give them a very high chance to get it. And that's the thing with it: if someone bad can do good, something has to be extremely wrong.
This. Let's take a look at this shit for a second, okay? Turn1: 1/2 Bucaneer + 1/1 Patches --> 1damage face for 1 mana. Turn2: 3/2 Bucaneer + 1/1 Patches + weapon --> 5damage face minimum, 8 damage face in case of fiery war axe, for 2mana.
That's already 6~9 damage dealt to face by turn 2. Turn fucking two you're already at 20 or so hp. Even a coined Doomsayer might not survive this, something that never happened even in the days of midrange shaman or secret paladin or undertaker hunter.

But sure, let's nerf Azure Drake.
Just to expand on this, in case the warrior is going SECOND, the burst potential is even greater:
Turn1: 1/2 Bucaneer + 1/1 Patches + Coin + 1/2 Bucaneer > 1 dmg face Turn2: Equip War Axe (OR N'zoth's first Mate + Upgrade/+Deckand) and you're looking at: 3/2 Buc + 3/2 Buc + 1/1 patches + 3 from Axe (or +1/2 from Rusty Hook + Upgrade! or +1 from Hook + 2 from Deckhand) = Either 10 or 9 dmg, you're starting your T3 at 20/19 HP.
The annoying part is what happens next.
T3: 3/4 synergy pirate. The War Axe has become a 4/2 if equipped, so you're taking another 3 + 4 + 1 (assume 1 bucanneer was removed in the process, if you're lucky) at LEAST. By the beginning of your turn 4, the pirate warrior has taken you down to a measly 12 HP. And honestly: How hard is it to deal 12 dmg in the course of 2-3 turns (so by the end of T5/T6) when the deck runs stuff like Arcanite Reaper, Kor'Kron Elite, Mortal Strike etc?
It reminds me of that tournament match, was some ramp/yogg Druid VS Zoolock, and EVERYONE was bitching at a ramped out, innervated T6Yogg for "stealing" the victory from the warlock's fingers due to crazy RNG. What EVERYONE decided to ignore was the fact that, by the end of Turn 5, the Zoolock had a board consisting of: a 5/4 Doomguard, a 3/2, a 2/2 that gave CARD ADVANTAGE TO A ZOO DECK (Peddler), a 1/3 and the druid being at 7 or so HP. You're telling me this kind of Hyper-aggro that doesn't allow non-aggro decks to play practically ANY of their cards is healthy for the game?
This isn't Magic: The Gathering. There's no interaction on your opponents turn, no tricks up your sleeve, nothing. The minions you summon cant even be used to BLOCK INCOMING ATTACKS unless they have Taunt. There's not even any Hand Disruption in the form of Thoughtsieze or Duress (1 mana classic T1 play, Look at your opponents hand, choose a <insert random restriction here> card from them, your opponent discards that card) because Blizz developers consider Forced Discards a "bad" thing for the game.
So, you wanna cry about Renodecks being all over the place? You've got noone to blame but yourself, for playing hyper-aggro decks that take the fun out of the game.

Reno is everywhere? What? From rank 13 to rank 11 with my Anyfin Paladin I encountered 3 Reno mages, 1 reno priest, 1 reno warlock. And 7 ''Who goes thar'' Shamans, 5 ''who goes thar'' warriors and 3 ''who goes thar'' rogues. I have also played both Reno and aggro decks and I have to say Reno decks are more fun to play
The irony of what is said in the OP's avatar is priceless.
Lol I'm seriously not being a babycry about Reno, I actually win most of the matches since just a few of these type of deck players actually have a clue on how to play it, but I just can't stand people complaining about one thing hence the other is just as bad (worse, imho)
"Deal with it"

Do the math: 1: Small-Time Buccaneer + Patches the Pirate 2: Fiery War Axe + The Coin + Southsea Deckhand or even Upgrade!: 1 less on turn, but turns a 6 damage potential weapon into 12 damage potential. "The fair and balanced combo!"
