Arena. Rogue vs Rogue, I basically lost, but he decides to leave me at 1 Hp with his dagger equipped and a headcrack in hand, and feels safe at 15 health behind a taunt. I am in topdeck mode, my board is empty.
I assassinate the Taunt, still not getting killed. Play Deadly Poison, bring him to 9 and keep a card in hand, still not getting killed. I'm closing in to fatigue, when I finally draw what I was waiting for: Eviscerate.
"Thank you!"
Slam down the Argent Commander I kept, Eviscerate his face and hit him with my dagger.
Played against a yogg druid. The doofus was spamming emotes all game long as he removed everything I played with spells, whatever.
He has lethal and a full board, I passed so he can go ahead and get the killing blow. He clears my board with spells, spamming emotes all the while, ends turn. I pass. He spams emotes while roping, then plays Yogg. Yogg feeds this nerd a two piece to the face with a Fireball then a Starfire. I emote a "thank you".
Dude spent almost an hour repeatedly spamming me with friend invites, I can only assume to rage at me. Thanks for the stars, nerd. :)
I was playing my new midrange hunter i put together. matched against some insane druid whom on his first turn (he got coin) played InnervateAlarm-o-Bot.
Already i am shocked as i have never actually seen someone use this in constructed before. This was turn 1 and i had no means of removing it, so i had to wait and see what it brought out. Turn 2 and it drops his Chromaggus on the board. FUCK. At this point some people might concede already. I am confident in my hunter deck and proceed to challenge it. It goes on for a while.
He attempts alarm-o-bot once more turn 3 but i got lucky with Animal Companion to roll Huffer and removed it. Unfortunately his chromaggus procs 3 times and i had no idea what i was in for. I know now he had drawn x2 Sylvanas Windrunner, x2 Moonfire and x2 Aviana.
I had made use of my first Tundra Rhino on turn 6 to contest the empty board which he followed up with his first sylvanas.
I play Hunter's Mark and trade into it, and play my second tundra rhino, planning on dropping Call of the Wild next turn. He follows up with his second sylvanas as i expected; i learned this by watching his hand.
I play call of the wild and go face, leaving him at 12 hp. He then trades into Misha and recieves my Leokk. He plays Healing Touch and then Swipe on my huffer.
He allowed my rhino to live, so i then dropped King's Elekk and Houndmaster to buff it, then go face once more, bringing him back to 11hp.
He plays Mire Keeper with slime and attacks with chillmaw into my face. I play Deadly Shot but it lands on the mire keeper and i trade with sylvanas but i end up with the damn slime, so i trade my huge toad to clear his board, again.
He topdecks Wrath and deals 1 damage and draws, then hero power to clear my board.
I play Jeweled Scarab and i choose and Carrion Grub and play it as well. At this point he is left with 4hp after many steady shots.
I have no idea what will happen next. Topdeck Nefarian. He concedes!
My word, that was the craziest game i have played in constructed. So fun though.
Nothing better than the feeling of being so in control of a match against aggro Pally in Wild that you can look at his 6-card Divine Favor and say, "Good, that means he's six cards closer to fatigue."
Man, when you go up against a midrange shaman, have the worst RNG possible and somehow stabilise at 1 hp before he finally concedes. I think I threw Rag down on turn 10 (I think I played Rag + Wrath that turn). 3 minions on the board. 2 good ones to hit, ofc he hits the 1/1 though. Next turn, he ignores Rag and puts me down to 7 HP. Has a Fire Elemental, Master of Evolution and a Thing from Below on the board plus another 1/1 token. I play Cenarius, Rag hits the 1/1 again................... He clears off my treants and puts me down to 1 life. Then I wild Growth into Ancient of War to save me again. Rag actually hit something useful that time. He couldn't get through my AoW, and I cleaned up the board reasonably with Living Roots and hero power, and played out Sylvanas, then he finally conceded. Feels good man.
the moment in arena when you play against a mage: he has no cards left, a few minions, you have lethal but the turn before he played this topdecked secret ...
will you go for lethal or trade for savety because when its iceblock or armor you lose? but when he topdecks a fireball after you trade you will also lose?
i like this situations :D
The solution is to determine frequency of choosing one over another, and frequency of arena RNG-deckbuilder providing epic vs common. I say an average mage deck having a block OR barrier is less common than having a fireball. The actual fuck happens when it's both Ice Block and he topdecks a Fireball, so you've lost before you had to make a choice.
For me, I'd go for lethal in this case, people taking Ice Barrier over Fireball deserve a win for their unpredictability.
I just had the most satisfying victory in my Hearthstone life. I was playing a C'Thun warrior mirror (exactly the same decks) and his draw and curve were insane while mine sucked. What annoyed me even more was that he was misplaying HORRIBLY: he drew with everything he had; acolytes, shield blocks, slam (for those who don't know this, you don't draw in a C'Thun/control warrior mirror).
So I trade 4 attack and slam last, killing off his minion. He thought it was a misplay because I didn't draw and said ''my thanks''. THIS annoyed me the most. Anyway, the game ends with golden monkey mirror because I somehow managed to survive (had to shield slam his C'Thun twice by the way).
After the match, I wanted to send my friend request to genuinely give him some tips and advice because he should've won that match 100% with how well he drew and curved out. He did not accept it :/
I finally used it, the worgen OTK. I teched my patron warrior with it as I was running into control priest every other game, its a 0% chance for patron to win.
After I teched it took me 14 games until I saw a control priest. It worked first time. Towards the end he was even drawing me cards, to get me to fatigue. He never saw it coming.
I burst out laughing afterwards, no the best thing to do on the train to work!
K so last tavern brawl game was pretty interesting.
My oponent plays decent minions and use double offensive spell on KT granting him 2 mana KT, game seems done but i have bolfs and tentacle hoggers to stall a bit, at some point my opponent plays tinkmaster which targets his KT and turn it into squirrle while there was 6 minions total on the board >_< I obviously were losing slowly since my opponent got another KT and few Reno's on the board however my opponent decided to not attack when i dropped double mimirons eventho he had lethal, i was like "k it seems he wanna have some fun", i topdick 3rd mimirions head and form voltron then i just damage his stuff to show him what voltron is capable off and pass, he proceeds to play tinkmaster again while there was 8 minions on the board and it hits what? KT ofc, the only KT copy on the board was just transformed to 1/1 by trollmaster... AGAIN, then he just gave me the win by conceding.
It was one of those times when i accepted friend request without hestitation.

He plays Innervate Deathwing... god damn it. But he discards Wild Growth Emperor Thaurissan an both Aviana.
All i can really play is Princess Huhuran, so i do. He Swipes face and trades with deathwing.
I have no choice but to drop my Huge Toad and remove deathwing with Explosive Shot and Kill Command so i can survive. It is now down to topdecks.
He plays Chillmaw, i play my Sylvanas Windrunner.
He plays Mire Keeper with slime and attacks with chillmaw into my face. I play Deadly Shot but it lands on the mire keeper and i trade with sylvanas but i end up with the damn slime, so i trade my huge toad to clear his board, again.

Seeing your opponent concede on turn 4 while you have 4/5 Divine Shield Nat Pagle and a 4/6 Fjola Lightbane (toying around with a paladin buff deck).
Onyxia & Tinkmaster Overspark! Thank you Tavern brawl!
Fuck cubelock
Just played against Lifecoach aka Ropecoach and won!
Can confirm that the rope is real.
Everything that isn't about elephants is irrelephant.
And this is why you shouldn't smoke weed
LUL
I remember beating SilentStorm in an insane Priest vs Priest Matchup which went into fatigue and he used all his cards. That was such a badass feeling
