I would have said FaceHunter, but I have gotten the hang of beating it. I'm not going to say i beat it every time by any means, but i don't have that "Well shit" moment when i see it as my opponent any more.
Because of how consistent was all the hate, I will say Face hunter. But in fact it should be a toss between huntertaker and secret paladin (winning rexxar).
This is a really good topic imo, really had to think which deck I hated the most. Had to go with Face Hunter in the end simply because they naturally do well against Rogue (which I play ~90% of the time), they seem to BM more than any other class despite their cheap antics, and they are relatively easy to pilot. Yes I know a lot of people say Face Hunter takes skill to play; frankly any deck in Hearthstone requires thinking because the game is much harder than people give it credit for. What I am saying though is that they take LESS skill to play than almost all other classes. For those bashing on how easy it is to play midrange decks, the thing you have to remember is that a good midrange player has to know when it's time to go for the throat and switch his play style accordingly, much harder than going face 99% of the time (aggro vs. aggro match-ups are the only ones you have to consider trading in most of the time).
I think midrange decks are easier,it is harder to know when to face or trade than it is to know when it's time to go for the throat and switch play style accordingly,in fact most of the time it is quite obvious.
I guess where I'm coming from here is that I observe a lot of players making mistakes when playing midrange decks because they aren't aggressive at the appropriate times. Sometimes I feel it's not obvious at all actually and only someone with a deep understanding of the game would know to be aggressive in those situations; a lot of players play safe and trade, but the mark of a better player is that they go face a lot more often because they know they can get away with it. It's much easier for aggro players imo because you typically only have to trade for the high threat targets like Knife Juggler and when your opponent can lethal you. Also, just going face all the time will get you a much higher win rate than a midrange deck that just trades all the time or goes face all the time, that for me means aggro is much more forgiving as well.
I understand of course that this is purely subjective, might be a play style difference that makes other players see things differently than me and hence find certain decks easier. I would stand to argue though that a lot of players that say midrange is easy, don't actually play it correctly in the first place.
I went with Preneref Undertaker Hunter. That deck was just no fun at all to be on the other end of. It was either turn 5 win, or turn 4 lose. Turn FIVE. It was ridiculous. So glad they fixed that.
If it was on there though, I probably would have said Mech Mage. I don't even know why, but I find this deck SO OBNOXIOUS. They never seem to miss the Blastmage shots, they somehow sneak all this free stuff into lpay, I die on turn 6 Frostbolt/Fireball + minions--just hate it. The salt is real.

Decent decks for dabblers! Under 1000 dust, no Adventures required!
Wow! I had no idea how hated Patron warrior was.. but why? Even at its peak I would not see that many. Almost none at 15+ rank and 1 of 5 matches on low rankings at end of season
The only annoying thing of that deck was the tournament predominance. It needed only a slight nerf
I don't think that there is a deck that none hates.
I hate every basic deck more than I hate secret paladin, agro druid and agro shaman combined.
Don't like anything that doesn't interact to gain board control as part of its win condition. So Freeze Mage, Mill Rogue, Face Hunter, Aggro Shaman can all piss off. Old Patron with the OTK, 5 minute "whoosh, whoosh" animation from Frothing was also terrible, though today's version is a favorite of mine. Secret Paladin and Combo Druid are frustrating, and "perfect curve, can now ignore board" SP fits in with the rest of the trash, but I can actually tolerate them since they normally give attention to the board.
