ofc hearthpwn would pick on the deck that I'm playing as well, I also think the jade mechanic is bad design, but at least it's not RNG dependent and not incredibly swingy like this garbage. If I so happened to be playing control warlock and it stole my voidlord with mind control you guys would be complaining about possessed lackey instead.
lul, it's always pleasure to see jade player get rekt and cries in hearthpwn. That deck is 50/50 against control warlock and almost unplayable against aggro decks like zoolock or aggro paladin, 40/60 against big priest and 50/50 against raza priest. It's tempo deck and spiteful summoner into amber or mind control is its win condition i mean if you have some removals, that's it you win. So you tell me it's unbalanced? but how about infinite jade huh? If you want to beat it, play aggro deck or or accept your lose and move on dude.
Expected coming from someone who is proud to put rank 6k+ legend as his avatar
Guess you guys don't realize how much skill it took to play optimally in aggro metas of the past where the most RNG there was came from Knife Juggler
Imagine all the best players not wanting to play ranked until the end of the season. Then all the semi-good players will reach Legend rank and leave the super difficult climb to the best players mixed with the sub-par players.
Dear OP have you ever climbed to legend before and experienced the climb to be much easier than it seems now?
Fam it's in my signature, I remember high legend climbs back when I used to play (semi-)seriously being much easier, even in the era of so-called "broken" decks, I was able to get comparatively very consistent results near the top of the ladder compared to now.
This being said, the players I'm playing against and losing to are legit awful. There are really, really obvious misplays at rank 3, which makes it all the more frustrating that I'm actually losing.
Bad players on SEA server at legend dumpster ranks teching exclusively for aggro feel the need to emote excessively when they finally highroll an aggro deck, doesn't even make me that salty that they won, just makes me wonder how bad the average SEA server legend player is that they not only tech for aggro and lose because of it but think it's worth it just to beat aggro that one time, and think that makes them good players, it's just sad to see that (supposedly) legend level players still get so salty about playing against aggro just because I can't afford to buy cards on their lower skilled server.
Hey guys. So i reached rank 3 this season and i am grinding for more with Silence priest. But i wonder is there any difference between third rank reward chest and legend one at the end of a season?
Yeah there is, I believe it's a golden common instead of 25 dust or something iirc
My exams finished today time to go for top 100 on 3 servers at the same time PogChamp
Overall, Discover is a pretty lame mechanic that I'd like to see go away.
Hey why don't you Discover a way to not rope every single turn.
Discover is an excellent mechanic. There are, however, a few cards that show the devs inconsistency in costing, resulting in much stronger cards for certain classes.
Discover is still pretty broken in a sense that some classes have cards that are much stronger than average resulting in you getting highrolled most of the time (Primordial Glyph for example), and when you don't get any good choices you get screwed, it's a mechanic that benefits some classes way more than others and in the long run the situation is unhealthy for gameplay.
Legend on 3 servers, got NA for the first time this month, totally free to play on Asia and NA, cheated quite a bit on EU but that was more than 2 years ago now I think since I last spent any money on this stupid children's card game. Maybe try for top 100 on all 3 now?
Secret mages pre-legend running VOLCANIC POTION ffs, how mentally disabled can you be, that card has almost zero synergy with your early game and is a dead card when you are ahead, just wtf, it doesn't even clear the board to delay for pyro in the lategame vs midrange decks, it's only ok vs aggro if you draw it and then you need a perfect setup or some other times you would be ahead if you played some tempo card like Kirin Tor and not have to clear anything, mentally handicapped right there.
And shoutout to Paladin who draws 2x Consecration in first 10 cards, that was extremely skilled of him just like a few perfect opening/perfect totem roll mouth breathers I played against today, NA really is a trash server like Asia but who cares if you misplay when you topdeck your second Golakka Crawler on turn 2, the fact that I still had a chance to win that game means there is seriously wrong with your gameplay.
Anyway legend NA is taken, legend on 3 servers now, I'd go for top 100 on all 3 but I'm not sure whether electroshock therapy is a good idea with my last exam coming up on the 24th.
They are a company, it's good marketing strategy, just recognize it and move on. Or are you from one of those post-communist countries which believe that the state and its institutions should provide for everything, free of charge so everyone is equal?
Companies are designed first and foremost to make a profit, if it's not profitable then Blizzard would stop development on HS and then maybe you'd be happy? Don't get me wrong, I don't see Blizz as a generous company at all and the game is still P2W af but I don't see anything inherently wrong with that, if you don't like it, stop playing, it's not like they are the government cutting off your unemployment benefits so you actually have to get out of your basement, get a university education and find an actual job so that buying 100 packs becomes literally pocket change to you.
HS was never designed to be a competitive game and if you think that the "esports" ( LUL ) scene is to be taken as seriously as games designed for competition such as CS or DotA you are deluding yourself. Blizzard's market is the casual gamer as evidenced by their other releases such as HotS, WoW and Overwatch, SC2 is the exception to the rule, and their main source of income will always be the casual gamer.
If you are going to stop playing this stupid children's card game over a marketing ploy that doesn't even apply to you, then at least get your math and facts right, an average pack contains around 98 dust, not 40, so it will take about 4-5 packs to craft this worthless card that will never see play.

Or do you just really hate capitalism Mr Kim?
