I have read that according to Blizzard's Chinese partner that the "Big Thing" in the next patch will not be just the alternative heroes but something still not announced..
I would like to hear what you guys think and hope it will be))
Any idea when we will get an announcement?? I'd like them to just go ahead and announce the next expansion / upgrade. It's just something to get excited about and theorycraft about. Love that stuff.
I hope its something that would have a big impact on the overall environment of HS, like a new mode, fix the arena reward system, ( +wins scales well with the rewards you get) , get rid of all the 40 gold rewarding quest. I'm interested in seeing an adventure mode type wherein we get to play as the hero bosses of both adventures, however it would require the players to complete Naxx and BRM first in order to unlock those heroes. We would play a balanced version of their cards and hero powers as well, I think that would be awesome. It would prompt players to buy or grind (for f2p) the adventures which I think would be a win for Blizzard/ HS's part.
New class? No. That's something they would announce on blizzcon with a new expansion, so you get new cards instantly, otherwise the card pool would be minimal. It's hard as it is to make up for 2 adventures and 1 expansion with a new class as it is.
New game mode? Eh... possible. Kinda doubt it though.
New cards? Not through a patch, so if the wording is correct, no.
New quests/more deckslots? Hardly a big thing. Nothing they would hype (if they actually hype anything since I haven't heard anything from blizzard US/DE)
Achievements are something I could very well see introduced. That would be a medium big thing, fairly easy to introduce through a patch.
The order of this Hearstone content release has minor error. Perhaps the American think the new hero is of more fancy. The new patch is not about that. Trust me.
The key fact that needs to be kept in mind was that they said 'wasn't the big thing'. It's definitely not cards, it's been too soon since BRM. So, a big thing would be a thorough impact to the game, more dramatic than the inclusion of the heroes. Despite the fact that they're purely cosmetic, new heroes are a big deal. People go nuts just trying to play decks with Jaraxxus or Majordomo (don't get me wrong, Jaraxxus is an amazingly good card) often just to enjoy the emotes or the sensation. So a new skin (at 10 dollars a pop is pretty reasonable since a lot of people like their base classes already, so they'd only get new ones for ones they REALLY wanted. How many heroes, of the ones you actually like to play, would you like a different hero for?) is a fairly big deal, in that it's an expensive, exciting element that positively helps both the people using them, and the people they're playing against. What could be bigger than that, while not being cards.
Game modes, big features, and balance changes. Unless they start doing monthly-ish additions of a few common cards just to spice things up, more likely than not we're getting either replays, some new game mode they haven't talked about, or changes to the balance of the game. Given when they nerfed undertaker, changing something now would be right on schedule.
Oh that one. Isnt it artwork for GvG? They first released it along with hearthstone for mobile devices with small screens aka phones. And I believe someone posted it like a month ago when they added it to they facebook account, so it's not really new.
Im 95% sure that he is talking about the next adventure. E3 is very close and I am pretty sure that the new adventure is going to be announced there. Together with the new adventure we´ll see the new heroes added to the game :) Sounds very simple.
EDIT: Why do oyu not have the vote "adventure" there?
I think a new class would fit the theme of the new arrivals in the tavern. For each new hero we get a little inkeeper's tale, and the last one would be Arthas arriving at the tavern and scaring the shit out of everyone. I swear to go though if the new class isn't free...

Since the new heroes mean they will expand their microtransaction system, I'm pretty sure the other thing must be something they would also sell for real money, as it would be weird to launch a new shop area with just a few hero portraits in it. I'm betting on extra deckslots and possibly other paid content, such as extra game boards, themed mana crystals etc.
Maybe an expansion themed "adventures at sea". More murlocs and pirates being added.
I actually really want such an expansion, since Murlocs and pirates are my favorite tribes in the game. Perhaps even some synergy between these two tribes due to their shared sea-elements (although I am unsure about the lore between Pirates and Murlocs in WoW so maybe it is a ridiculous idea haha)
Either way, I hope for an adventure that validates other previously unplayable decks in HS, instead of adding new OP cards that doesn't bring anything else but frustration to the game :)

More play modes and more deck slots, because every single player wants it.
Seriously $9.99 for a new hero portrait? What is blizzard doing seriously?

Okay, let's see what would be realistic?

What is the new banner about? It still shows the BRM one with elemental.gif for me.
And i vote for Real money only gameboard skins. If you introduce hero skins, why not do the same with the other part at the same time.

This picture was made for the phone release. Stop suggesting it will be a new theme when it is old news.

I'm craving for an elemental based expansion/adventure. Would be a massive boost for Shamans.

Also, probably new sounds for only 10.99$ per card Greyface

I'd like to see a gamble mode, where you can gamble any of the cards that you want, for the chance to win the opponents card.
