One year has nearly passed since i started to play HS.
My gf asked me if i can remember any moment during this year when i really enjoyed the game.
I can't remember any. I got many happy unpacking moments but playing was, for me, just the unfunny step to open new packs.
1 vs 1 play is a real pain for me, full of frustration and rage.
Now here is my question: did blizzard ever talked about new play mode? maybe something that's not fiercely competitive? Some cooperative play, team play or some kind of pve game maybe?
Recently news came out Blizzard is toying around with a 2v2 mode. The 2v2 mode is essential, in my opinion, because online gaming is just that much lonelier on your own. If you can theorycraft and play with a friend on ladder or on casual however.. we'll have good times.
That news was accompanied by some other info (number of subscribers) which was later proven to be way off, so I'm not buying into that rumor until Blizzard confirms it. I think there might be new game modes coming - Ben hinted at it in an interview in December - but not sure it'll be 2 vs 2.

2vs2 is surely going to be exclusive for adventure mode. Everywhere else it would totally destroy the balance of the game. I doubt that devs ant to think about 2vs2 while creating a card.
I'd love to see 2v2 mode personally as I'm sure many other people would. Two-Headed Giant is a fantastically fun mode of play in Magic the Gathering and I can't imagine it being any less fun for Hearthstone Heroes of Warcraft. That said I'd love to see more casual modes endorsed by blizzard. Maybe a casual only mode of play called "No Restrictions" where decks can contain cards from any other class so you could play something like Control Warrior with Tirion Fordring and Blade Flurry. Since it would be a casual format the developers wouldn't need to worry about any balancing issues as it would never be a competitive metagame.
I'd also like to see a Tournament mode built in to the game where like arena you bet some gold bring 9 decks and play best of 3's in Blizzcon winning deck is banned format with random opponents until you lose and then get some sort of reward based on how well you did. One problem with Hearthstone is that the only built in competitive way to play is on the ladder and eventually that gets pretty boring so an alternative would be nice that could give us players who don't like arena an alternate way to grind gold and dust but allows us to use the constructed decks we have complete with golden cards and hero portraits.
I would love to see a 2v2 mode, both PvE and PvP. On the PvP front, I think there would of course be crazy balance issues. Maybe a work around this could be to set up matches like this: You queue into the game and get matched with a team-mate and get matched against two opponents. Before the match starts you can then choose to ban certain class cards that would be totally broken when used in combination with a different class. Once that is over the match begins.
This way the 2v2 meta can be decided by the player base and it won't necessarily be super broken. Not sure what to do about using hero powers but that's my 2 cents.
Sorry to burst the bubble but the matchmaking system is already stressed as is. While it is possible that one of the 3 existing modes may be altered, the game can simply not support an additional segregated queue. I make exception for what Alperon mentioned, an adventure-only scenario. From a commercial standpoint the number of HS players is likely decreasing and not increasing and additional subdividing the queue any further is likely untenable at this point.

Free to try and find a game, dealing cards for sorrow, cards for pain.
Hmm but what if adding a new mode added to the player base? Maybe there are people out there who are waiting to play the game once it has more "options".
Blizzard once talked about a "raiding" game mode, with multiple players going up against an NPC boss. This is a co-op mode that many players like yourself are looking for, however there have not been any information to make us believe it's in their immediate plans.
I doubt that the average player is getting bored. The average player has a lot to achieve in the game and a lot to experiment around. To compare the complexity of Hearthstone ( a one year old game) with MTG (a 22 year old game) is plain stupid. The same as comparing the card amount of Hearthstone and MTG. By time Hearthstone going to gain more complexity, that with maintaining the balancing of the game. A 2vs2 mode can be fun in a limited area, like Adventures or a Raid Mode as mentioned earlier, but it is in my opinion very doubtful that we ever going to see a 2vs2 mode in the competitive scene. Cards which work great now with the class would be broken in a certain combo. Nerfing the card for 2vs2 could lead to make it useless in 1vs1. the alternative to have different card abilities in different modes is again too complicated for new players to keep in mind.
Therefore again, IF 2vs2 is going to be implemented THEN surely only in a non competitive area of the game and thats Adventures. Ever wondered why it is called "SOLO Adventure" and not only "Adventure"? There is a hint that there going to be at least a cooperative one to be seen.

All you need is this: http://www.hearthcards.net/packs/
it would be cool to have a speed mode like you only get 3 secs per turn or 5 mins per game
