I love playing mages in arena, but contending them is a whole other story. The class is so unfair in arena, the same goes for hunter in constructed. Hopefully the grand tournament will make it so the other classes are just as powerful; justice demands retribution!
Got charged twice when paying for an arena ticket :(
Had bad internet connection, and when I clicked on the "150 gold" button the "waiting for authorization" window quickly showed up and disapeared again, but I didn't get access to the arena. I payed again and it worked, and it was then I relized I had lost 300 gold :'(
Once you finish this arena run you'll have a free one waiting for you.
Ok seriously I've never been this unlucky before than today. Literally so fucking salty right now. Opponent is Eboladin with 8hp remaining, I'm playing Ragnaros, he also has one Silver Hand Recruit chilling there. And guess what, this stupid Rag ofc hits the Silver Hand Recruit! My opponent just went on killing me by topdecking Truesilver and Consecration.
There are just days where you just shouldn't play Hearthstone. You just get fucked.
Yeah, nothing's worse than when you played really well against an obnoxious, faceroll deck and they end up winning because of RNG. Sometimes I feel like the game should have a built-in algorithm that's checking to see if you're playing against face hunter or something, so it can tilt the odds in your favor. :P

I'm trying to figure out how this guy topdecked two things
I don't understand why people feel the need to do as many actions as they can before killing you. I'm just trying to live my life over here. And yes, the person I'm talking about was obviously at level 60 and did not need the experience.

That's just a bunch of self-conceited twits doing "BM". If you suspect imminent defeat, just concede and don't give them the misplaced sense of satisfaction.
Well they could make it so kill command can't target face. Not really sure why that card needs to be a better fireball right now. One of those mysteries that pushes hunter into a class where you can't play anything that costs more than savannah highmane.
Wow just played against the biggest scumbag of a warrior ever. Roping the whole turn just to play grommash while having death's bite equiped. Don't tell me you have to really overthink that, that's a really simple turn.
I will probably just delete this day out of my hearthstone history...
Well that's just rude of his side, but you could never know. Him being away from the PC at that moment is not too unlikely, I often go to take some drinks in the middle of a match
Stupid lottery facehunters. I had 8 life and I was 1 turn before lethal he had 1 card in hand played sergeant played topdecked quick shot that got him animal companion and guess what? Huffer lol. And he got just 2 more mana for heropower... fuck this shit.
Why in the world are people playing NET DECKED face hunter on Tavern Brawl , I wanna know why ?! Why do these retards have to get out of constructed ? The damn game mode is so you can play something else and fresh, not the same stupid damn cancer you face every damn day if you so much as touch ladder, damn rage quitted twice, and hell , they do it seriously, they get salty if you kill or silence a freakin' Lepper Gnome ....
I've been toying around with control Paladin decks and finally accepted the fact that brain-dead aggro Shockadin is just superior in every way. Good job you fucking idiots at Blizzard, I like how you made face decks stronger than decks designed specifically to counter face decks. Play your own game much?
WTF is wrong with you Battlenet Matchmaking? WTF is wrong with you Battlenet Matchmaking? WTF is wrong with you Battlenet Matchmaking?
Doing casual with Oil Rogue and in 13 games, I ran into:
4 Handlocks, 3 Face Hunters, 1 Freeze Mage, 1 Control Warrior - pretty much all Hard/Tough counters to my deck. Then there is the Druid with the discounted Double Roar in hand by turn 10, the Combo Priest that has every removal/AoE in the world and a Loatheb.
I swear doing quests on casual is like 100x harder than laddering.
EDIT: As soon I switched to Control Warrior, I met a Shaman (after like 45 seconds of queuing). Thank you, Blizzard.

They designed the base game wrong. Watch an MTG draft, you'll see players miss tons of turns. They'll just pass back and forth.
Hearthstone? NOPE. The MOMENT you fall behind on tempo, you generally lose. Only in arena, in SOME games does it ever get to topdeck mode where players can't spend all their crystals.
For the most part games are won and lost as one or both players sits on a big hand of unused cards. Worse, most cards in your hand become useless when you're behind on tempo. You just can't play them or they die for free or just don't block any damage so YOU die.
Simply, the ability to go directly face in hearthstone wrecks the game. The active player is always ahead on board by at least how own turn's worth of mana, so if he gets to go face, there's a problem. It means he's basically playing one turn ahead of the other player the entire time.
For instance, turn 1 we both play a 2/1. I go first, so I trade, play 3/2. Then trade again, play 3/3 etc. Turn 10 I play a 10/10. Now what? I just go face. You have to trade into me. Then you lose.
This is how midrange hunter works for instance. Trade early, then just go face turns 3-4 and the other player can't come back because through gaining tempo, all your minions now basically have charge. Should you somehow lose board, your hero power and half your deck is also things that can just ignore minions.
It's so bad.
Minions aren't equal depending on whether or not you're the active player and that's just trash. Being able to ignore everything and go face is how almost every single game ends.
Just drafted a really good Mage deck and my first opponent is Priest. He drops a Foe Reaper 4000 which I can Dark Iron Dwarf + BGH. He then plays a Lightspawn with Divine Spirit and the turn after Sneed's Old Shredder. His Sneeds even drops Ragnaros the Firelord too. I manage to regain board control and right when I think I'm going to win he shows me Deathwing....

LOL! Your deck must be pretty sick already if you can regain board control after all of that but some arena decks just play themselves =D
Once you finish this arena run you'll have a free one waiting for you.

Warrior vs Face Hunter.
I make some epic plays to stay alive, recover health, clear his board, and set up for lethal next turn. He's down to 3 cards and I'm at 14 hp.
He top decks Animal Companion, rolls Huffer, remaining two cards are both Kill Command. Fuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuck.
I don't understand why people feel the need to do as many actions as they can before killing you. I'm just trying to live my life over here. And yes, the person I'm talking about was obviously at level 60 and did not need the experience.
That doesn't work when it's a lethal Darkbomb.
