I was playing a DMH warrior against a Jade Druid. I didn't have Skulking Geist in my deck. I didn't mill out their Jade Idol. At one point I was about to give up, but I thought I could try to force a tie by surviving until the turn limit is reached. I was very selective of the cards I shuffle with DMH, because I know I only need to deal with one or two 30/30 each turn eventually. In the end I won by sticking some minions on board. After the 50-minute game I added my opponent as friend and discussed the game. Neither of us made any critical mistake, and we agreed it was an amazing game. This was the most difficult victory I've ever had and it reminded me of why I enjoy playing Hearthstone.
Have you guys had a very difficult victory like this? I'd love to hear about it.
I had a token druid mirror match a while back that was pretty intense. The constant fight for the board was such a back and forth. At one point I lost the board and thought it was over but he had no way to solidify it so I took it back and ultimately ended up winning. Was a really satisfying game. I've had a couple hard wins with quest druid recently too vs control warriors and cyclone mages. Sadly too many people abuse friend requests to be dicks so I haven't been able to add many people after hard fought games to gush about it with my opponent that gave me such a good game.
