In my experience it is way too slow to be used reliably. I found if I'm still trying to spam out a board by the late game I'd rather be running Mulchmuncher because it could at least take out a threat for a low mana cost if I'm finding my board getting removed constantly.

I don't think it has much purpose in the deck. Decks that use sea giant usually use it so they can benefit from having an early wide board. Token druid can just kill you if they have a wide board.
As stated before I'd rather have Mulch muncher. Sea giant is good in decks with little or no board buffs whereas druid has like 3 different board buff cards, 2 of which are permanent and 1 you can use twice.

Is it too slow since toke have that 8 mana spells that summon 5 2 2 treat?

Sea Giant isn’t meant to be played late game
