Twinspell: You get a copy of the spell when it’s played
I can't decide which leg to stand on. It could be too powerful, but on the other hand it could bring some fun combos and it lets you effectively have 4 copies of a spell.
I'm always excited when new mechanics are added to the game. However, this isn't a NEW mechanic. Play the same card twice. We already have that,
The main differences from Echo are that : 1) we can play it in a different turn as well. 2) we can't play it more than twice ( unless it's extended with the shaman frog, etc. )
Not excited, extremely disappointed.

It is just an extra Value generation, and i am pretty sure they attached it exclusively to spells that can use redundancy, without breaking the Curve.
The Druid spell is a perfect example of that: it's a load of stats and Value, but it is just a bunch of tokens that happen quite late in the game, that can easily be cleared, or be simply too slow.
With that being said, it's a lackluster mechanic, imo. It didn't even deserve a keyword.
I expected a larger innovation, with a new year expansion, say a new tribe or something.
It's interesting, because although you can use it twice, your opponent will know what's on your hand once you've used it once, so they'll be able to play around it.
Still, it isn't the most exciting keyword ever, and I had hoped it'd be something more along the lines of Discover or Adapt, where you can gain extra flexibility and a relevant choice.
Pretty excited. It's a new old mechanic that strives to push control meta. I see nothing wrong with that. Echo was very interesting except for the fact we did not receive too many of those cards. Everyone who is worried about the new mechanic that is healthy for the game is either unreasonable or a braindead cancer aggro player...

Um....you can keep it in your hand and play it on another turn kinda makes it something completely different and unrelated to Echo. So yeah. It's new.
As for complaints that it's not "innovative" enough, some of these kids are too spoiled. They introduce new mechanics every expansion. That's not easy to do in any kind of balanced way. The really different ones like recruit end up being OP. I'd much rather a new mechanic be underwhelming than oppressive.

Right now I am leaning towards excited.
It usually works better to stand on two legs.
I'm always excited when new mechanics are added to the game.
i think you can do some very interesting combos... but the mechanic is boring
there are so many possible and awesome mechanics and they choose a one-time-echo-mechanic
Agree that the mechanic is not so new since it is like a mini Echo.
Guess what is the next new machanic for the next next expansion: TwinMinion!

"Twinspell" sounds dangerous to me.
Pretty excited. It's similiar to the Echo mechanic but I do feel the Twinspell mechanic has a more powerful effect.
Twinspell has more mana, I'm predicting all twinspell has 6 and up mana.
We already seen one with the Druid 8 mana, and already has a crazy effect.
And you can't just compare it to Extra Arms Both have value generation but the card power level is not the same.
This is not a new mechanic... Extra Arms...
That's not original and not funny, I'm disappointed...
That said, the agatha upgrade thing seems cooler, it's more like a new and funny mechanic to me (even if already exist is some way with spellstones)
Love the tribes.
As many stated its is similar to the echo mechanic, but in my opinion its a huge difference, that you get to keep that one copy when your turn ends.
I guess it won't work with Electra Stormsurge, so you get two copies since the twinspell part is not the spell?

I'm excited. I'm hoping Mage gets some good ones.
you people are also forgetting that no echo card could've costed more than 5 mana as it didn't make any sense
here we already have a 8 mana spell, so the Twinspell is already way more powerful than echo
Also with this they can print minions with battlecries in the line of "your next spell this turn has Twinspell"
saying that, the more I think about it the more excited I get
both twinspell and scheme are going to be obnoxious. Making garbage new keywords instead just creating new cards using current pool is lame.
hs wants 150-240 bucks a year for ResidentSleeper expansions.

Am I hearing... Fire Fly?
Except, you can cast the spell on different turns, which is definitely better then Echo.
