Some of those legendaries are quite fun but yea they go into niche decks. Cho for example is actually quite fun in burgle rogue. Jaraxxus saw plenty of play when DK Guldan wasn't in the rotation. Rotface has won me so many games alone based off it's potential. So another man's trash is another man's treasure, just don't write these off because they aren't in Tier 1 decks all the time.
This card is pretty good if you use for a tech in value matchs.
If your opponent is priest or warrior, mulligan for big cost value cards and you double them.
x2 Loa, x2 Dragon 8/8 or x2 Lich King is hard to deal with in long games, vs other classes keep the low cost removals like frost or Poly.
8 manas 5/5, draw 3 or 4 cards and don't get closer to fatigue is far from a bad card.
That is the problem with retarded, undercosted, completely OP and insanely broken cards like DK hunter, people start to see all other cards that is good but fair like this one as crap.
We live in a world dominated by Baku, Genn, deathknights, Cube, Katherina, Tarim, etc. They haven't allowed any space for many of these legendaries to find success. Many are still playable even now though. There are two ways to play Hearthstone: build an optimal deck in the meta and climb with it or build an off meta deck you want to play and try to win with it. Both are fine.
We need to wait till after rotation to see if more of these legendaries can at least work in the second type of deck.
Gotta love posts like there.. 3 pages of people calling the OP an idiot and not understanding development of legendaries or a CCG. I fully agree with everyone too. This kid took hours to look up each legendary he thought was bad and got raked over the coals. It's great. Well if the OP ever designed a CCG he would quickly see that his method of making legendaries would create a meta of legendary filled decks and lacking any deviation or experimentation or homebrew or even fun meme decks. Obviously Wild doesn't matter to the OP nor does past expacs or vanilla HS where some of the legendaries listed were in almost each deck.
BLIZZARD!!OP WANTS EVERY SINGLE LEGENDARY EVER MADE TO BE EVERLASTING AND IN EACH AND EVERY META IN EACH AND EVERY EXPANSION - do as he says or he will make more posts like this.
An awful lot of the 'Crap' Legendary Cards in that list have seen play at some point. Hell, I'm trying to use Harbinger Celestia in every deck at the moment. Because I can.
And Lord J was a cornerstone of HandLock waaaay back. And he will probably see play again once Bloodreaver Gul'dan rotates.
There are very few plain shit Legendary Cards. Even Duskfallen Aviana will have a home in the future. Don't forget that DK Rexxar was seen as a joke early on, until Blizzard decided to print some juicy new Beasts for his Zompool.
Rexxar has never been seen as a joke.
Hell yes he was. He was widely touted as Tier 3 at best among the Death Knights just before release, he hardly ever saw play when he was released and Blizzard actually had to Buff him so that people would play the card.
During the first few months of DK Rexxar being in print he only had a set amount of Beasts to choose from, like Kazakus only has a set number of Spell Effects to choose from. It took a great deal of moaning, cajoling and sniping from the Hearthstone Community to get him updated so that with every new Beast released gets added to the Pool.
The same Community that have been screaming for a Nerf for the past God knows how long.
It's not like they are bad per say, it's just some of them aren't as good as those in meta decks
Fun decks however, they are really cool and unique.

I love Irony.
4/3/19 RIP Keith Flint. 😔
I agree, some of these legendary cards can be viable, just not at the moment. Look at both Hadronox and King Togwaggle.
