Because when you play casual mode and run into decks you dont like playing against like for example Hakkar druid who just stalls you until they win, you can just go "nah, i cant be arsed to play against this no talent scumbag deck" and concede without thinking twice about it. Yea he gets a win, but he dont get to play the game :D Playing HS without getting triggered by all kinds of BS is pretty great.
yeah, well. funnily or sadly enough i see better decks all the time on average in casual than normal ranked ladder so the point of casual mode is pretty much mute for me. i can't remember when i actually faced something someone would call a "casual deck". just doesnt exist for years now
maybe they should nix rewards of any kind in casual mode, maybe then it will be good. until then there's no incentive to play a weird or funny deck at all unless you wanna waste your time with it
Yeah and professional tennis players are talentless because they are playing with custom built, top quality rackets. If they were truly skilled they would play with cricket bats. Away with you ffs.

That's a shitty comparison that's not even on topic...
The point is that casual doesn't feel any different from ladder and that's against the name itself ''casual'' so it's kind of flawed in that sense
Right and if someone is using a deck that has a higher chance of winning when played correctly doesn't mean that it is any easier to pilot than a steaming pile of turd.

So, what you're saying is: as long as I can play tennis correctly, it doesn't matter if I use a tennis racket or a cricket bat?

The point is, i like the low-salt environment of casual. If i play against something i truely despise, i just get out and leave. The same cancerous decks run rampant in casual as in ranked and that is fine, but at least in casual i can chose to say "No thanks, i prefer not to be violated today".
Well, there's MMR in Casual so you have to be careful with concedes. In Wild Casual I cornered myself into "trash tier rating" and now I'm facing many bad players, almost basic decks, people that just concede turn 1, etc. and it also takes me minutes to find a match.
My experience in Casual is quite sad actually. My cycle goes like this
1) Play with low MMR, try various ideas. Get outgreeded by ridiculously greedy and slow deck (especially in wild) 2) Get pissed off, build a whatever aggro deck, wipe the floor with those greedy decks. (or go combo) 3) Start encountering tier 1 decks 4) Back to experimenting with decks, start having low winrate 5) Get back to 1
Reaching ranked 5 and experimenting is usually far more enjoyable. And concede option for match I don't want to play is there, too.
Same here. I hear "NONE WILL SURVIVE" coming from my Warrior opponent when I just wanna have some fun with cheesy Tesspionage and Evolve Shaman for example? Fuck you, I'm outta here. Go to ranked.
Problem is maybe that people have quests. And they use the decks they have or some quests need you to win. Pehaps they should make quests playable in ranked, friend and tavern brawl only. Would be interesting if you find opponents then...

Ditto. The idea of facing a mountain of armor with multiple hard removals on top of it just crushes your will

Good on you for being so peaceful about it. Personally something bad awakens inside of me when I see degenerate big priest players in wild casual.
Worthless casuals.

how is hakkar a "no talent scumbag deck"? i can understand why people dont like it, but its one of the harder deck out there rn.

Because their only goal is denying you the chance to actually play the game.
Also, what a "no talent scumbag deck" is, is different for each individual. I dislike playing against Hakkar druid, you dont. Both opinions are valid.
No.
20 minute queue times are not fun.
I have to concede for around 20 minutes on average in order to get a non ladder deck.
