I thought I was a standard player once and dusted all wild cards. It was a mistake and I am almost fully Wild only now. It took awhile to get back my collection
I'm mainly a Standard player too. (I started playing HS like 1-2 months before WotOG) I barely played Wild, I played a few moths when Reno rotated out, but even in those times I played Standard more. But nowadays I started to play Wild again and it is just so much fun for me and I'm really glad that I haven't DE all my Wild cards (just a few of them like Majordomo Executus). Imho it is not a good idea to DE your Wild cards bc you may want to try a cool deck in Wild or you get bored in Standard and in these cases you will have the option to switch.
Dusted my wild collection. Especially cards and classes I never play and choose not play. I honestly despise Hunter & Mage for example. I just don't find wild interesting enough to keep the other cards.
I like trying to find meta breaking decks in standard. Even if I only find one, I'm satisfied, and I simply say goodbye to my creations as they rotate out.
don't dust anything, remember when people called wild a dead mode ? that was in Old gods times, when Wild had only one expansion and one adventure ( GvG and Naxx ), now it has 4 expansions and 4 adventures.
Soon, when Quests and DK cards rotate out, i assume wild players will be doubled, because these cards are unique, they provide an enjoyable and different style of playing, for me, i like priest's and Rexxar DK, they are really fun, i can't play them in standard forever.
If you are 100% sure you'll never play wild then sure, do it if that is what you enjoy. However, if you ever do change your mind you're not going to rebuild your collection without forking over a lot of money or a lot of time.
And as some people have mentioned already you will put yourself at an immediate disadvantage during some farming 100g brawls (Barnes/Y'Sharjj and Mechwarper being some of those cards).

I've had the same. Maybe I dusted only 4 legendaries, but these legendaries were Reno Jackson, Brann Bronzebeard, Aviana and Ragnaros the Firelord. 1600 dust went for Kalimos which i dropped a month later as a guaranteed 40th pack legendary
I did it when MSoG came out because "I'll never play wild and I am a standard player". I insta regretted it and hated that decision so much. Since then I've spent dust and money to restore my wild collection.
Now I play both formats. Usually I play standard early after a new expansion and wild when standard becomes too stale.
I would not disenchant the whole wild collection.. that said every new expansion i will revisit wild cards and dust useless ones (my standards are steadily increasing) to get new fun cards
Depends on your view on playing Heartstone I guess. I was really thrilled about the game when i started (pre-KoFT), but i'm starting to lose interest in general. Hence, I dust cards from previous sets to craft the ones I would like to try out. In fact, I'm already dusting cards from YotMammoth sets that I do not find interesting. Do I feel bad about it? Not really. There's plenty of ways to consume media. Do I feel bad about it in 10 years when i might pick up the game more intensively? Probably. But if you never try, you'll never know...
I have already done what you want to do on a small scale, even though I wanted to play wild to, I was focusing on the crap cards I owned from sets ones never used or never will be, then I started getting more into standard altogether and then started dusting more, next level of "bad" cards and this pretty much happened to the point I started dusting good cards at the time I was fine with it, but later on down the line there were some pretty cool decks being made in wild and guess what I was missing them cards :P and got really frustrated as I had to build back up on these cards as well. I would really recommend not doing it.
I mean TGT cards were really bad and probably most dusted them when they wanted dust from wild collections but Genn and Baku made them shine now soo it is like always a bad idea to disenchant "bad" cards, unless the cards were intended to be for memes.

I did it, no regrets. Don't listen to these plebs.

I always do it. Of course I don't dust any good legendary (for example, I still have my Sylvana, Rag, Boom, etc).
The rest, I dust it. I prefer a good and useful legendary on standard than 4 bad ones sitting on my collection.
But I always do it when I have a specific legendary to craft and dust legendaries from rotated expansions.

I only regret dusting legendaries
standard is trash, keep your wild cards

The plebs are the ones without any wild collection.
totally agree I like to keep my collection growing
have a nice day

lol plebs? ppl having only half their collection are the plebs. if u need to dust ur wild cards to fuel ur standard decks then u are a poor f2p pleb.
PS: im also f2p but my point still stands

Do it if you have the balls.
Dear OP:
What did you choose to do?
I would not disenchant the whole wild collection.. that said every new expansion i will revisit wild cards and dust useless ones (my standards are steadily increasing) to get new fun cards
