Have to wait for the rotation with recruit to truly rate it. For instance, Recruit Warrior has some pieces to be close to Viable. Need to see what happens when razakus leaves.
Also, there’s not actually a ton of recruit cards. Not every class has one outside of neutrals.
One of my favorite expansions solely based off the fact that dungeon run is a blasty blast. Standard meta isn't all that boring actually. There are viable and highly played aggro, control, combo, and midrange decks. Am I missing something? Every class except for 2 have at least 2 viable decks (viable does not mean top tier).
Yeah , and the fact that the HCT championship dekcs are warlock, priest + other 2 classes out of witch its mostly druid and rouge doesn't contradict you at all.
And why others are saying its boring
1.Cause of Op cards and a game is decided which of the 2 players draws his op card first /or op combo first.Your being punished for having a bad draw/ him having a good one and losing by turn 4-6 cause of it
2. Cause you can't experiment at all,not only is ranked full of meta copy pasta decks but so is casual to a 80% degree . Now here some will tell you "If you want to experiment go to wild" Ignore the fact that players in wild will play cards that don't appear in standard and you need to alter your play style of the deck accordingly , not to mention the shift from casual and wild casual is something like Hard to Very Easy giving you again inconsistent data cause of the huge gap between the game levels
The professional players, playing for MONEY, are using the TIER ONE BEST decks in a tourney??? NO WAY BRO!!!
1. What are you even saying here? I read "If I have bad draw, and/or my opponent has a god draw, it's not fair and I lose". The hell are you smoking man let me have some??
2. You can experiment all you want to. If you want to be the best and Rank 1 you have to play the best possible deck. It's that simple. Take ANY other competitive game. MOBAs if you pick some janky experiment comp you will get stomped. Gotta play whats good, MMORPGs you gotta have the best gear if you want to compete in top level PvP, can't experiment with different sets because you're a super cool creative motherfucker.
Please reread all the nonsense you just typed out and think a little more thoughtfully and logically. This game has a HUGE amount of players. The players will, in time, find THE BEST possible decks to play. All things equal, good draws and bad draws aside, skill level aside, There will ALWAYS be a best combination of cards that perform better than others, regardless of how much experimenting is done. THEN you EXPECT people to not play those when they are trying to rank as highly as possible??? The fuck kind of logic is that. "Hey bro, I know you want to hit rank one legend and stroke that epeen, but could you please do so by experimenting and not playing the best decks?"
Per Tempostorms Meta Snapshot there is a Combo, Aggro, Control, and Tempo deck in tier one right now. Each from a different class.... WTF MORE DO YOU WANT?? If you don't like the decks play that's a personal opinion and have at it but don't say it's a boring meta or people are lazy or whatever the fuck other excuses you got. You just don't like the good decks. That's fine. It's not the metas fault, it's your personal preference to play some crazy ass combo oriented decks and them be the absolute best. JESUS FUCK. Have a lovely day.
I was a dedicated fan the last couple of years, not anymore, this game sucks really bad. Team 5 doesn't even care, they could make more seasonal events like overwatch, they could increase deck slots, make more balance changes, make the game more friendly to new users (without them investing $200 in packs)... But no, it is always too hard and they are taking everything in consideration. This game became so boring. I even have all good legendaries and I am sitting in 8k dust doing nothing. Logging in to complete quests is painful, I suffer every second in this game. I am glad I left it. Hate me all you want blizz fans.
u are probably a salty player how never was able to hit legend and now u talk down the ones who did it.
anyways, its sad to see that ppl like u bring bad emotion into a conversation. without any positive intensions.
So u come into onilne forums to talk bad about ppl who actually talk about fact in the game.
U probably have big problems beyond hearthstone, gl
You think it is an accomplishment to hit legend in hearthstone? just netdeck and play for hours... If a deck has a winrate of 60%, statistically you will eventually get to legend, you just need to have no other things to do and play a lot. Get to masters in starcraft, that's more impressive
My love for this game was playing control decks, but recently i dont have a top tier control deck (aka warlock and priest), and only aggro decks that i dont like to use. This game forced me to play jade druid, but i'm getting rekt by the warlocks :(

Don't give me the BS about tempostorm meta facts the data is gathered from all players if alot of inexperienced players try out mill rouge cause they saw a stream and play it with fails it will reduce its winrate and will be placed as lower tear, wereas braindead deck that have very little chance for error will always have higher winrate cause evrybody will play it similarly.
You have data from other HCT's ex the 2017 winter HCT you had ballance 15 warriors ,12 mage 12 warlock ,13 rouge , 11 shaman 11 priest 6 druid compared to now 16 priest, 15 druid/warlock 12 rouge and the rest(3-2-1)... you can say that you have other archtypes but when 1-2 class dominates aggro/midrange/control and other classes are all forced in the background the meta is fuckt up.
Sure you tech against weapons and rattles but if you don't draw your tech card you lost...and you can't over tech cause your deck becomes crap, so your forced to play "the deck everybody else is playing " to be viable on ladder ===> it becomes unfun and boring
And when i say you have a bad draw i didn't mean it literally stuffing your deck and muligan all your high cards (but clearly i need to give an example to some "Damn enemy drew raza on turn 5 whereas i only drew raza on turn 10 your preety fuckt".. Enemy draw keleseth turn 2 i only got it on turn 6-7 well may as well concede , "Enemy tempo deck had corridor creeper in starting hand preety fuckt", "Enemy warlock plays weapon on turn 5 and ofc he gets out voidlord may as well hope for your sillence or your fuckt"... The meta was never this boring because its filled with plays you can't really interact against much like how quest rouge was
Just imagine next expansion with 1/3rd less cards....
Sorry, what?
next expansion brings rotation, and we will lose roughly 1/3rd of the cards in standard...new standard in april will be:
Ungoro, Frozen Throne, Kobolds and Q1 expansion 2018 only.
edit: point being it might get stale faster as the best decks will likely be found quicker and will all include the power neutrals: Bonemare, creeper, scalebane, etc.

Well Yes that makes sense but I believe your math is off.
You are forgetting the free cards and Classic which will be a part of Standard.
Classic is twice as big as any set and we are losing closer to 15 % than 30 %.
Try out wild. I'm not bored at all :P such a wide variety of decks you are put up against to the point you can't even use tech cards because there's nothing super common enough to be able to tech against due to deck variety.

Bad players whine.
Good players adapt.

The problem in the long run (Wild) is that Call to Arms basically killed all other aggro decks, while Psychic Scream killed token decks.
