Hi all, first off, I need to state that this isnt a salt post, it's me asking for help for wild ranked. I play mostly wild since I like the wild ladder because of the deck diversity. But this season, I left wild to play standard and now when I want to try wild again I see the diversity gone. No more control warriors or recruit paly or control shaman among many others. All I see now are naga giants and priests(big and raza). So I wanna ask those who are laddering fine, what decks are you climbing with and what are the counter decks for the meta now?
I've been laddering with oil rogue, went from rank 18 to rank 6 in about 6 hours of gametime. In that time I haven't seen a single control warrior, and I've only seen 3 naga giant hunters (of which I beat 2) I have encountered a whole lot of reno priest. I feel like oil is favored against many popular decks in wild, the most popular deck priest is easily killed in one turn with a deckhand and 2 oils along with some preps. Loetheb is the most important card in a lot of matchups and I keep it in my opening hand against all mages, priests, warlocks, shamans, rogues,
Reno priest... it's just a ridiculously solid deck. The only problem is that mirror matches take 25-30 minutes and there are A LOT of mirror matches :)
I think mill rogue would be a pretty good option in this meta, and actually super fun to play (though inconsistent so yeah).
I play my variant of Exodia Freeze Mage (http://www.hearthpwn.com/decks/905584-self-mill-exodia-mage) I see only a few giant decks, most f the ladder is Highroll Priest and Highlander Priest. Some Jade Druids and Pirate Warrior, but they got hit hard with the nerf...

Wow, I dont even know what oil rogue is. Do you mind sharing a decklist?

Thanks, I will consider mil rogue. I heard it's a difficult deck to play though. As for priest, I'm kinda trying to avoid that, bcos I am bored of the standard version and mirror matches are a pain as you said.

I slaughter Priest. So I like the nerf xD
Ah yes, this deck is interesting. Do you mind sharing a decklist and its winrates?

To early for a winrate list. The data I have are mostly prepatch with 56% winrate overall. But most loses against PW (prepatch I had a 38% winrate vs PW, now I haven't lost a single game vs PW but only 7 [edit:only 7 vs PW] games so far.) and Mages with iceblock+Reno, but I encouter near to zero Mages on Ladder... so secret eater isn't a option. At this moment I'm on 74% winrate. I will post statistics in one or two weeks when the meta settles down.
I played exodia mage too from rank 5 to legend with a 95% winrate vs all types of priest. I my opintion the best metadeck right now. Midrange paly is a 50:50 i would say but the deck struggles agianst more agressive decks. I got lucky with the matchups and played almost no pirate warriors
I play beast druid for a little bit of freshness, and its really solid . Turn4 into stealthed 5/3 into 7/7 druid of the fang into managarie warden always got my opponents off guard, pretty high winrate and i really enjoy playing it. Good new beasts from ungoro Kft, and 1 Ui for card generation (plus malfurion is a great Dk)
Its a pity everybody hates druids nowadays, but at least nobody counts with my cards :D

Ah, decklist please! I wanna know what I need to craft for that deck. Btw, always wanted to ask, is Exodia or regular freeze mage stronger in wild?

But with one loot horder for one blizzard
Hmmm, Coldlight Oracle looks better then Acolyth of Pain, but didn't he screw your games vs aggro?
Before Nerf I climbed to rank 8 with Murloc Paladin. Post nerf I have been doing extremely well with warlock zoo decks, there are some great variants right now.
Hi I play token druid with some tech cards, and it works. I know, its an aggro deck, I deserve all the hate :D btw Reno priest is one of the hard matchups, rush them down early is the only solution. I'm rank 241 at the moment, around 66% winrate.
Nope, I dont believe that. You can play whatever you want as long as its within Blizzard's rules. People who hate on your deck choice are usually sore losers or whiners. If you dont like the deck, then go sue Blizzard for allowing it to exist within its rules. If you dont like how Blizzard runs the game then leave.
Okay, enough side tracking. Can you share the deck list? I tried aggro druid but haven't had much luck. Maybe yours is better. Also, if priest is so dominant in the meta, shouldn't this be bad?
The only change I made to the original list was replacing vilespine slayer with Loetheb, because as I said he is really powerful against a multitude of decks in the wild meta.
The creator of the deck link, kohai, has a great guide for how the deck plays. The difficulty of the deck is quite high, but once it is mastered it is very powerful
I finally decided to stop playing Control and Combo for a bit to try Dude Pally. It's been an absolute blast. It has so much reload power and very sticky boards. Brought me from rank 14 to rank 9 in about an hour, and I'm hoping to climb to legend with it next season. It also only has three necessary legendaries, so it's not hard on the wallet.

Exodia is stronger you can do it without the quest in wild with emperor
