I agree, Ghastly Conjurer should give you an uncollectible spell and cost a bit less. I'd make it 2/5 for three mana, add a spell that summons two 0/1's or something like that, this is really baaah :(
why Blizzard keep design cards that summon or discover exist old cards in the game seems too lazy and where is creativity here!!
I'll never understand this argument. Ewww, Felfire Potion does damage to all characters. Cards have been doing that since Baron Geddon, how unoriginal.
As HS continues to grow its card pool, some cards will look more and more like old cards.
Edit: Misunderstood your point, but in my opinion it still holds true. Is Archmage Antonidas a bad card because he generates an existing card? No, he is his own unique card. I dunno, I just don't see it.
It's a very interesting way for under-powered cards to see play. One of the best-designed cards of Un'Goro was Hydrologist - it also happened to be one of the most powerful cards in the set, to the surprise of virtually everyone in the community.

70% of the voters said it was playable or very good 33% voted very good, so no.. wasn't a surpise
You already know what Mirror Image is. Putting it in the text of a new card makes it easier to comprehend on the first glance.
I think it's a great design to reuse old cards as parts of new cards. Especially this "generate a spell" mechanic, it gives you more decisions, increases your hand size, it makes the game more complex using simple elements that you are already familiar with.
The card could either say "put a 1-mana spell in your hand that summons two 0/2 minions with Taunt", or it could say "put a Mirror Image spell in your hand"
Card text needs to be concise and direct. Utilising existing, recognisable cards is the best way of doing this.
Having said that, I'm not sure why Cat Trick generated a new card instead of Jungle Panther /shrug

Apologies for the delay . . . I only noticed your response.
To be fair, I didn't claim that the card was either "playable" or "good" - so I'm at a bit of a loss as to why you cited those particular numbers. You also appear to agree that Hydrologist is "one of the most powerful cards in the set" - indeed, your claim is simply that this result "isn't surprising." But citing the huge "playable" and "good" numbers only undermines that claim. Hydrologist scored 54/100 on the community review. A very low number, indeed. Only 6% of respondents correctly predicted that the card would be "one of the most powerful cards in the set." All things considered, it seems to be perfectly appropriate to characterize this as a "surprising result." Hope this clears the matter up, thanks for the response, GLHF.

Because it enables cards that ordinarily never see play to actually see play in constructed, which helps keep games fresh.
