The choice of answers to the question is not well thought out. I answered "yes" to playing wild, but I actually play standard more often, but I always play wild too.
There should be a choice for "both" wild and standard and maybe even "mostly wild" and "mostly standard" or "only standard" and "only wild". The percentages will change dramatically compared with the 2 choices presented. It makes it look like 60% of HS players are in wild all day long...which isn't the case.
I only play wild, as I can play whatever deck I want there. I do not play this game for the competition, so as soon as I reach rank 5 I get pretty careless.
If you play for the competition, then wild gets pretty boring/monotome when you get close to legend, so for that I would not recommend it, but before that it is pretty casual after the standard/wild split up, as there with so few players left now, is room for some pretty creative decks (My Gahz'rilla+dreadscale hunter kicks ass!).
The only problem is that it is not uncommon now, to play against the exact same player 2 and sometimes 3 times in a row o,0
I've started playing this season in Wild (only so far) playing patron warripr. I love having Death's Bite back... With the new tools it feels so much Stronger.. It demonlishs!
You'll see more wild being played when the allure of standard wears off. Most people playing now played a lot of wild, it will just take a bit for playing the older cards to be fun again.
I'll play exclusively wild this season, not in a full-tryhard-mode, just as long as it is fun for me. Standard has become boring and I already miss some cards, like Loatheb, Sludge Belcher and Healbot. In addition I don't want to accept anymore, that all the cards I spent time for are worth shit now. Besides, I like to tinker with decks and appreciate a greater variety of possibilities.
In my opinion, the real problem of the old meta was the dominance of Secret Paladin and I hope that all the Spikes out there stay in the presitigious Standard with their Shamans, because I don't see Blizzard balancing anything until the next release, contrary to their statements. I think they don't like nerfing cards, because players spend less money if they don't expect to get a stable countervalue.

Arena and Tavern Brawl belong to Wild so yes, but in CONSTRUCTED I will never play wild.
