Hi, I have a large amount of arcane dust and am at a crossroads for which deck I should craft. My choices are either Trump's Control Warrior or Miracle Rogue and Trap Hunter. I'm looking for a deck that is the most viable in the current meta and one that is dependable enough to take me to legend. Also I want the deck that is the most fin to play considering Hearthstone is only a game and having fun is the objective ultimately. Thank you so much in advance. -Rinzler
The first question people will ask is what ranks you run at and what decks you like. I would say Trap Hunter is cheap and effective, but it is running out of gas quickly in this meta. I only play for fun so I focus on legends which fit in a lot of decks, like City of Brass, err I mean Leeroy Jenkins. Hunter is nice because it doesn't have any class legends (apologies to King Krush). Control Warrior has been a consistent presence in the meta. Hopefully someone with more experience at the upper ranks responds.
Those three decks are three completely different playstyles, with little overlap between cards. Before investing a ton of dust, you should decide what your aim, beyond "have fun and get legend", is. Do you have any prior TCG/CCG experience, or have you put any thought into what type of deck you might enjoy most? Combo/Aggro/Control/Midrange, etc. With no more information than what is given here, I would say Control Warrior, as it's likely the most expensive competitive deck in HS, and there's a lot of crossover, at least with Legendaries. If you invest in CW, and decide you don't like it, you'll still have a significant number of fairly ubiquitous Legendary cards.
On the other hand, how much dust do you have exactly? Because the amount of dust necessary to build control warrior is enough to build Miracle, Trap Hunter, and several other decks in addition.
What type of deck do you enjoy playing? Rush/aggro is on one end of the spectrum and control is on the other. Control Warrior is probably the most consistent deck across the entire ladder, but is expensive to craft and games can run long. The three you mentioned could all get you to legend, but Miracle has fallen out of fashion in the current meta for a few reasons (though I still play and enjoy it). Miracle also has a very unique play style, so you either love it or hate it. Lastly, you'll need more than one deck to get to legend. The meta shifts at different ranks and you need to adjust accordingly. I don't mean to burst bubbles but if you're asking these questions you have a long road to legend.
Those are two different things. Getting to legendary is a grind that depends on the meta and will take a while. If you think you will have fun grinding that out, then good otherwise a "fun" deck probably won't make it to legendary.
Control warrior is currently quite good versus all the hunters in the ranks where it matters (5 and above). Midrange hunter is the current meta and you will have a lot of mirror matches. Miracle is a toss up, you don't offer UTH targets, but can get crushed with Highmanes.
In terms of dust costs: control warrior (10k+), mircale (6.5k) and midrange hunter (2-2.5k).
I concur with the other players, having obtained legend status in 2 seperate seasons, one being the first legend season, and another being this most recent, Control Warrior would be the way to go seeing as it was a consistency in both seasons even though we play in a quickly changing meta.

Free to try and find a game, dealing cards for sorrow, cards for pain.

let me change your mind...
The safest choice for you out of all three is Control Warrior, as long as the meta stays control oriented, Warrior will do well.
