With Hunter obviously on the rise, I'd be interested in figuring out some hard counters to their style of play. We're seeing both a powerful midrange and a powerful aggro archetype really taking form, and I think my decks need some restructuring to deal with it. So I'm curious, what classes, decks, and individual cards are going to be most effective in the new meta, in your opinion?
Doesn't play a lot of minions to fuel unleash, hunters don't play taunts (besides Webspinner RNG and Houndmaster), hunters don't have heal so can't really deal with Leeroy burst, hunters have a lot of 1 HP minions and we play Fan/Shiv.

Is it still viable, though? It feels like Loatheb truly killed the Miracle, and I certainly don't see it around nearly as often as I used to. In fact, looking at my stats, I think every Rogue I've played the last two days has been some variation on Backspace rogue.
I am running a Zoo variant that is doing very well against the rush hunters. It is kind of a death rattle zoo with Loatheb as the largest minion. No Dooms either. I will post if anyone is interested.
Miracle is having a very tough time now with all the new Naxx cards. Loatheb and Sludge Belcher are extremely annoying to deal with and Egg + Spider make it impossible to clean the board. I think Miracle is not dead yet but it needs another variation because the original one seems obsolete.
Also Blizz introduce better silence minions please.

Miracle is as strong as allways. Loatheb isn't a real problem for miracle.
Indeed Loatheb is almost a buff for Miracle, because playing him then shadow-stepping him can often buy you the extra turns you need to Miracle. By far the largest problem for Miracle right now is the damn egg
I don't have much problem dealing with beast type mid-range hunter. However the Reynad trap version is kinda difficult to beat because it ignores board and go for face most of the time.

Loatheb did hurt Miracle a lot but it's still definitely viable; it's just not the best deck anymore.

I've been having some serious trouble with my Druid deck against aggro Hunter. I'm thinking I may need to up the number of early taunts I play, but I'm not sure that will be enough. It seems like a really effective deck, frankly.
Trying to avoid discards. It really has morphed more into just a control Warlock which fits my play style anyway. Built around Death Rattles and the Barron. I'll post it after I play it some more. It is doing pretty well against everything except Ramp Druid.
Unleash the Hounds is honestly not hard to play around; especially as Hunters lack big minions with the sole exception of Savannah Highmane. Preists can just keep a small number of minions out and win with sheer value by tradeing and healing. Hunters cannot really burst Preist either.
When Highmane comes out; Shadow Word: Death and Holy Fire both instantly reduce it to the 2/2 bodies; who generally trade badly against cards such as Dark Cultist. These two cards are cards that should be run in every Preist deck IMO; with Holy Fire being good anti-burst; removal and burst in one package, while Shadow Word:Death is massive value against cards like Savanna Highmane and Doomguard; cruxes of the two biggest decks right now.
I'm about 10-1 against the Reynad hunter deck using a pretty standard control warrior. I played the hunter deck up to rank 5 but have switched into more control style decks now.

Taunts, heals, and control warrior.
And did I mention control warrior?
Vision without action is a dream. Action without vision is a nightmare.
I guess I'm not opposed to seeing Control Warrior return to the meta. I may have to break down and craft a Grommash Hellscream.

I'd like to see it. Why no Doomguards?

I have little issue against Hunters running a 'Value Preist' deck which is also aggressive.
Hunter's main cruxes from what I have seen are Savannah Highmane and Unleash the Hounds, with some reliance on Eaglehorn Bow and Explosive/Freezing Trap.

Current Deck -http://www.hearthpwn.com/decks/240420-army-paladin - Token Paladin
Priest absolutely trashes me. I think I only have 1 win vs prist with my hunter deck :/

Backspace Rogue is the best VS it, But if you want to have a better all around win rate go with control Warrior
With this deck I created I probably loose maybe 1 in 10 games to hunters... Trap or midrange..
U gotta still play smart against the trap hunters though.. Midrange is straight forward... I generally use the creepers to flush out traps
Give it a shot... Hunter and control warrior is prolly some of this decks best matchup.
