So Blizzard has not stated they are against Mill decks, they have stated they are against discarding. New Naxx cards such as Dancing Swords and Deathlord are actually new tools for the mill deck to play around with.
So true. And the Draw 2 Murloc. Control/Heal Paladin works best. You focus on constantly healing and using spells for control. Only use minions (after they heal you obviously) to help keep board control and let the fatigue dmg do all the work.
It works but definitely not strong enough right now to be viable consistently.
I prefer druid. Love that naturalize and nice taunts. Plus they have some healing tools which is good.
Discarding and Milling are actually two separate concepts, since one is from the hand and the other directly from the deck. It's possible that Blizzard might conflate them, but I don't really think so.
Yeah, I know. Was just pointing out what the poster was probably thinking of. Milling is *kind of* possible in hearthstone because of the burning cards mechanic. In MTG, you discard from your hand when you're past max hand size, but it mills from your deck with no control over it in Hearthstone. Honestly, decks that try to mill through burning cards are probably more common (maybe viable too?) than discard fatigue decks.

Haven't played MtG in years, but I never encountered a deck that was both a mill AND discard deck. I had both when I played, but it seems like that's trying to do too much at once.
i think it is a fun concept, and playing mostly priest, i have a decent number of games decided by fatigue as it is. and the few times my opponent (obv also priest) has put out two northshire clerics, i have annihilated him with stuff like holy nova/circle of healing causing him to draw 8+ cards and fun stuff like that.
as Robert Downey Jr. would say "Never go full Northshire"
i would like to see it be a *slightly* more viable way to play but dont want it to become prevalent.

Long story short Jaylaw... I LOVE to see priests with my mill deck ;P
They must think I'm a total newb when the early game I keep using the druid hero power to do one damage to their Northshire Cleric.
