Some might not consider these to be "Pro decks" but they've got a name and people have gotten up ranks with them, so I would consider them to be pro. I think Zoo is the cheapest (which is what I've been using since I'm mostly free to play).
Yep, Zoo is by far the cheapest.
Maybe not by far. Shaman decks tend to be pretty cheap too, thalnos doomhammer and alakir being entirely optional.
Freeze mage is also on the cheaper side, with 2 legendaries and 5 epics. Bloodmage Thalnos can be omitted, also.

Zoo is the cheapest to build, most of the popular variations don't even have a Legendary or Epic. People dismiss it as a newbie deck because of the low entry cost and easy learning curve, but I'm quite sure that there are people have gotten to Legend using a zoo deck.

aggro hunter. leeroy is only legendary in it. no epics whatsoever. and leeroy can be replaced/ignored
Zoo lock or Kolentos Hunter deck, Either way you only have to craft a couple of rares and both are Legend deck

They're not the cheapest since they have a bunch of epics, but you don't really need legendaries for most Druid decks. The Black Knight and Bloodmage Thalnos show up sometimes.
Other than that, Zoo and Shaman don't need epics or legendaries at all.
People dismiss it as a newbie deck because of the first two points not because it can't make legend (there are people who have gotten to legend with only basic cards). IMO someone who made legend with only zoo, would not learn near as much as someone who leveled with a more complex deck (I'm talking rank 5+). So their overall skill would be much lower than the rest of the legend players.

Just cut it for something else that fits the deck's game plan. I would NOT use Kobold Geomancer in anything.
I think Shaman is really cheap if you want to play Control, that class is going places after Nerubian Egg goes live
shaman will get insane after naxx with all these cards. and it will be pretty cheap (with cards from all wings)
i agree bro. also, i challenge everyone who call zoo noob deck to reach legendary... with any deck whatsoever. the climb is fucking hard. people are mad because they cant play properly. i am stuck on rank 3-4 for two seasons in a row BECAUSE ITS FUCKING HARD not because of any deck in particular. if anything people should rage about miracle because it can deal over fucking 20 damage in a turn. and druids, why nobody hates that class, they have like 10 different decks and every single one is stronger than almost every other hero. when you face druid you have no idea what kind is it.
if you need cheap deck go with zoo, you can reach legendary with it, it was done before but it does not mean that you will. there is no a cheap or expensive deck which will take you high on ladder if you cant play it. build yourself zoo, shaman or face hunter and play like 2000 games. that is your ticket to high level of hs
