Okay, so I am still trying to pick a name for my card. Which one is best?
I'm kinda leaning towards Ancient Guru. Anyone have any thoughts on the name?
Also, I would appreciate some feedback on the balance of the cards. I gave them a cost of 2 based on feedback and changed Wealth, but I am not sure how they stack up relative to each other. I am thinking right now this would work best in rogue or mages decks, as they could make the best use out of all of the cards. I changed Happiness to only target friendly characters so it wouldn't be too powerful with Auchenai Soulpriest.
I will change meaning life tokens cost to 0 or 1 mana .
Well, I originally had them at 0 cost, and the only feedback that I got was that they should have a cost.
^^Mindslaver is an absurdly powerful effect, especially in Hearthstone. Even with a hoop like that I'm nervous; perhaps make it an extra turn and drop the cost by 1 to compensate? (Also needs the watermark)
My card; are the quotations around Discover confusing/explaining the joke too much?
@ManyCookies: HAHAHAHAHAH just great! You should add "this game" in the end though.
Here is my entry: should it cost 0 mana? Originally it was worded as: "Discover a card to be used in your next turn", but that was misleading.
I think 1 cost is good. Since you get to Discover the card and not just draw a random one, I think 0 would be too little. Also, I think it might be a bit better if it was worded "Discover a card with cost equal to your empty mana crystals."
If you look closely, you can see this is a signature and not a comment. Why are you reading? Stop reading this. Did you read this too? Dang you must like reading.
Just a question about competition, every new competition, the first few cards posted are always higher rated than others for the simple fact that they are on page 1. Seems like most people don't bother going through page to read all cards. What if before the final pool, you do a first pool of all cards and show them all in 1 page, just like final pools are.

It's not based purely on most upvotes. It's weighted by page, so basically you have to win your page. Otherwise, only cards from the first page would get in the final.

So... looks like the default mechanic for discover is that it offers neutral cards and cards of your class, with each class card having a 4 times higher chance to be offered (as if there were 4 of each in the pool). Cards of other classes aren't offered.
Given these parameters, it would be interesting to evaluate some of the suggested cards.
For example, Anub'Rekhan: Discover a Naxx card.
There are 30 cards in Naxx, 21 neutrals and 9 from each class. So in each discover, there is a pool of 25 cards, 4 of which are your class card. That means the first card has a 4% chance to be any neutral Naxx card, or 16% Deathbite for Warrior (and so on). Extended to 3 cards, that is a 1/25+1/24+1/23 = 12.5% chance to be offered any neutral card, and 50% chance to be offered your class card.
(Nitpick: If Deathbite is drawn for the first or second pick, the card pool shrinks by 4 cards, not 1, so the exact chance for a specific neutral card is slightly higher than 12.5%. The error is less than half a percent.)
Since the chance to get that class card is so high, it's a major influence on whether Anub'Rekhan is good.
Great picks: Death's Bite, Dark Cultist, Avenge
Good picks: Webspinner, Voidcaller, Reincarnate, Duplicate
Trash: Anub'ar Ambusher, Poison Seeds
With Deathlord, Sludge Belcher and Unstable Ghoul, there is a 38% chance to get a taunt, which is also pretty significant. Plus another 12.5% chance for Loatheb. On the other hand, there are no chargers, attack spells or similar aggressive cards.
Given these choices, and the high mana cost of 6, it's a card that mostly fits into control decks.
It would be interesting to do a similar analysis for the many "discover a legendary" suggestions. With LOE, there are 92 legendaries, 68 neutral and 28 class cards. That's roughly a similar ratio as above, just a 3 times larger pool. So that should add up to under 5% to pull a specific legendary, or 15% if it's from the class.
Wanted to make something new and unusual for warlock. Here you have it :-)
Feedback and thoughts are much appreciated.
I don't understand what exactly you mean by "The other two will be played for your opponent". Also, I hope this is making a copy of the minion and not stealing from your opponent's deck, because that's pretty taboo.
Sorry for the delay folks. Been quite a busy day around here! Make sure you take the opportunity to up-vote your favorite submissions, and come back tomorrow to see who made it to the finals. =)

@nurgling13: I like all those images. The name should be Wise Guru in my opinion.
Pleas vote on my submission on the Weekly Card Design Competition: Fahrum Specter!

Okay, so this is my idea for a warrior card, any thoughts?
Also I would use this syntax to fit with other Hearthstone cards:
Compare the wording to Iron Juggernaut and Beneath the Grounds.

THERE IS NO GAME.
Thanks, I hope you like the name Wise Guru out of those three, because I can't change it anymore.
