Jaina and her magical friends have decided to side with the naga. They have the largest numbers and are obviously the most trained in the Arcane arts.
Maiev and her sneaky friends have decided to join the Alliance. After all, Darkshore is obviously meant to be a Night Elf zone.
Rexxar and his beast friends have decided to ally themselves with the great beasts of the forests of Darkshore. The land was once ruled by beasts and Rexxar hopes to bring Darkshore back to primordial times.
Nemsy has convinced Gul'dan and his demons to remain neutral in the war. Whoever paid the most would earn their favor.
Anduin's time as a Shadowreaper has really affected him. He now has a never ending fascination with the Void and he knows that, soon enough, it will consume Azeroth. May as well be in favor with them.
Malfurion has chosen to betray his Night Elf brethren and ally with the Ancients and the druids in the Grove of the Ancients. Nature must be preserved above all else!
Everyone knew that Garrosh would join the Horde and, specifically, the Trolls of Darkshore. No one expected Magni to join them as well. It is rumored that the Horde have brain washed him into joining them. We may soon find out...
The first thing Uther did when he arrived at Darkshore was visit the town once known as Auberdine. Sadly, the spirits and their sorrows overtook his soul. He and his righteous friends now work without end to figure out how to return to the physical plane.
After Thrall's little fiasco with Ragnaros, he has refused to use the power of fire. Now, on Darkshore, it calls to him, showing him visions of the world burning and him leading the flame.
This expansion will have an odd amount of legendaries, epics, rares, and commons. There is no set amount for each rarity.
Hey man. Now I'm the one gonna check your cards out.
First of all, the Mage one. It seems pretty powerful: it will either eat a removal spell or sap at least two of their minions, most of the time, which is maybe a bit too good. The problem I see with it is that it doesn't belong in Mage: this effect just screams Rogue to me. The actual Rogue Legendary reminds me of Volatile Elemental, but I can't say if it's better or worse, as the effect damages a random character, which can be friendly. I just don't think it feels Legendary, to be honest.
I'm not sure what to feel about the Stag, though I really like being able to activate Secrets without meeting their conditions. Mortin suffers of the same problem as Roltar: it just doesn't feel like a Legendary minion. Actually, it's way too similar to Darnassus Aspirant, in my opinion. That being said, I love the whole "destroy your Mana Crystals" thing. You should expand upon it.
Grand Darkener is ok, I guess. Might be really powerful, especially 'cus it can target the face, but it's a bit dull, as is Grove Keeper. The latter one reminds me of Lynessa; there's just no way this thing will not be hard removed or silenced. The Warleader is probably the coolest one, but maybe you should reverse its effect, like, the player with the smallest deck draws a card. This way, it would find a home in Fatigue Warrior. I guess that is true even now, though for different reasons.
Spirit of Darkshore is a bit boring: it's like a Giant meets Lightwell. The Eye of Flame is quite powerful -- too powerful, I think -- and makes me feel sad for Anomalus. And to wrap it up, the whole "every hero picks a hero" doesn't really make much sense, and I think you could get away without it. It's just my personal opinion. The Legendaries, as characters, already make sense within their classes; I don't think you need anymore to justify that.

It's more like every hero chooses a side and the legendaries are just a part of that side. The set is really experimental. It's just ideas I came up with and I put on the cards without a second thought. A more "serious" expansion would be my Westfall themed expansion "A Westfall Story".
After finally submitting to the power of the flame, Thrall found himself at a raging volcano. Ragnaros asked for a sacrifice and in return would send one of his minions to aid the World Shaman in his battles.
Uther thought that if he ran to his corpse and attempted to enter it, he may find himself back in the physical plane. Sadly his plan did not work.
Garrosh may have been a brute but he was an excellent strategist. He knew that he could not simply attack his enemies, he had to learn how they lived. He would end them soon enough...
The Druids of the Grove have recently sent aspiring adventurers to kill the avatar of Soggoth, the Slitherer and they succeed. Now, they have stooped to using his powers to accomplish their goals.
Only a few select people were allowed to ascend into an Elemental form. Those who did had immense powers and this one time priest is no exception.
It is a scary thing when a Goblin becomes a Warlock. Double the greed and double the hunger for power
The Horde were not the only smart ones...
This Naga loves those big spells!
Primordial King, but will it be a modern king?!? Who knows?
The Rogue legendary seems terrible. There's already a volatile elemental, why would you put 1600 dust together for a worse version of the same effect with a slightly tougher body?

Look at this thing and let me know what you think!
If you changed the rogue legendary effect to "Deathrattle: deal 3 damage to every undamaged enemy character" I feel like it would be a more viable legendary. You could also make the effect "Battlecry and Deathrattle: deal 3 damage to an undamaged enemy character" like Xaril. I do feel that the undamaged part of it limits it's viability.
Other than that, I really like the set! These cards have new and interesting effects with a great backstory attached to them. Good job man.

Thanks for the feedback! I think that the rogue legendary is really under rated. The fact that it has stealth and you can choose when it happens gives it a lot of power. My idea is that you deal damage to your face and either your opponent's face or one of their minions to in a way choose which minion it hits. In the end, it could be a 2 mana 2/2 Deathrattle: Destroy an enemy's two drop/three drop. I am thinking about changing it though.
The mages had finally joined the inner circle of the Naga. They showed Jaina Ny'alotha, the home of N'zoth, their master. Soon, N'zoth will give Jaina the great gift. This can only mean doom for Darkshore. "At long last, the gates of power are finally open for me! I will humbly accept the gift and with it bring glory and blood for the Void!"
Ragnaros sent one of the many Elementals under his control to meet with Thrall. He wanted to see if Thrall had completely sided with the Firelord. To prove his loyalty, Thrall burned a massive strip of land on the shore of Darkshore and called it the Blazing Strand. "Go, minion, and tell the master of this. Soon, I will burn this world in his name."
Despite the trolls' best efforts, the Alliance had found a way to fly under the radar. Now, they were openly attacking the Shatterspear. Without aid, they will soon follow. "We hide in the shadows no longer! This is our land and we will never give it up to these inferior beings, thorns in our sides!"
The Shatterspear will not fall that easily... They will defend their land until their last breath. All the mortal races of Azeroth are descendants of the Trolls. "We will crush the Night Elves and their measly Alliance! We will burn down their little tree house and control all of Kalimdor! For the Horde!"
Meanwhile, the shadow priests had been trying to convince the Warlocks to help them. The Warlocks had refused their offers, no matter how much the offer was. "We have grown tired of this petty squabbling. It seems they hold deeper loyalties than that of gold. Could it be to the Legion perhaps?"
The Warlocks would not be deterred from their task. The strongest and most sturdy Demons were sent from the Twisting Nether to Azeroth by "the burning masters". "Now, we have a debt to pay. A debt that will be payed in the blood of our mutual enemies. Darkshore shall be brought to it's knees!"
Things seemed to finally be looking up for Uther. He had found a...being...that would be able to take them back to the physical plane. No more running around in the spirit world. "Thank the Holy Light! We must quickly to our world before Malfurion sends one of his Recruits to "cleanse the ruins of corruption"."
Malfurion had known firsthand how corruption seeps into the roots of even the greatest of trees and cannot be seen until it is too late. Such a thing happened with the Emerald Nightmare. He sent his newest recruits to cleanse Auberdine of the spirits that haunted it and make sure that the zone was cleansed. "We will create an Emerald Dream here on Azeroth. First, we must cleanse it of all impurities. Starting with those pesky ghosts."
As you can see, tensions are rising...

After our heroes dealt with the problems in Westfall (http://www.hearthpwn.com/forums/hearthstone-general/fan-creations/200967-feedback-appreciated-a-westfall-story-custom) they decided that it was time to go back to Kalimdor. They choose to visit Darkshore and see how things were doing over there. Sadly, a war was being fought. Each hero picked a side and now they must all fight each other to see who will rule Darkshore.
