Referencing other spells happens a lot in WoW. This is a good time to use those to our advantage. Based on Master: [spell] from Priest's WoW, I decided to go 2 in 1. This card references directly Shadow Visions and indirectly Shadowform. The plan for a card like this is to cast a decent amount of Shadow Visions using itself to discover another copy of Shadow Visions. Only a few cards can be played with this combo, like Lyra the Sunshard. And while Radiant Elemental does break the game with Shadow Visions, I'm hoping that won't be too much of an issue for my card. The more Shadow Visions you play, the more cards you draw, which could result in burning some cards if you're not too careful.
Shadowform dependency feels good, as it allows this spell to do more for a "mastery" effect. It did have me bring the cost up to 7. This card's value is a very dynamic Sprint. You can draw from 0 to X cards, as long as you keep the Visions going, but you can also be in Shadowform to have the cards drawn cost (3) mana.
Another downside of this card is that it makes cards cost (3) from anything, like Bright-Eyed Scout. (And not Naga Sea Witch...). It could make your 2 or less cost cards become 3, so you'll want to balance out how many small cards are you going to draw when playing this spell... But it also makes your Primordial Drakes cost (3), so this isn't that much of a downside. This Set-Mana-Cost value will not function like Naga Sea Witch, even though Bright-Eyed Scout functions like Naga Sea Witch. No spam of 0 cost Giants just because you have checked their effect 3 times. Instead, Arcane Giant will end up a (3) costed minion even if you played 3 or more spells.
I fear Mastery: Shadow Word is too strong, after writing all of this down... :P
