This weeks theme comes from nurgling13, whose "Bribe" was the winner of our "Death and Taxes" competition. For this comp, it's all about beasts.
Competition-Specific Restrictions:
Your card must be a Druid card.
Your card must be a Beast, create a Beast in some way (i.e., summoning a Beast, transforming something into a Beast), or interact specifically with Beasts.
If your card is labelled a Beast but depicts something that is clearly not a Beast - for example a Dragon, Furbolg or Worgen - it will be considered to be subverting the rules.
Since the theme of this week is improving the Beast Druid archetype, any Beast interactions must be net positive. This means you can't interact only with enemy Beasts (e.g., "Destroy an enemy Beast"), and you can't purely hurt or destroy friendly Beasts without a secondary, positive effect.
Try not to make a card like these: Enchanted Raven, Jungle Moonkin. These technically meet the restrictions, but do not really do anything to improve the Beast Druid archetype.
As always, you may not delete any posts you make in this Submission Topic. Message one of the Fan Creation moderators if you've posted here in error or otherwise would like your post removed.
Remember that, although HearthCards is awesome, you must host your card somewhere other than Hearthcards, such asImgur or Photobucket.
Competition Process

Discussion Topic Rules
To make sure that everything runs smoothly, we need to reserve the Submission Topic for submissions only. Everything else goes here. What is everything else, you might ask?
Rules or Process. Do you have a question about the competition's process? Do you need clarification about one of the entry requirements? Are you not sure whether your entry adhered to the rules? Ask here!
Feedback or Ideas. Do you have some ideas you'd like to run by others before settling on one? Do you need help balancing or wording your entry? Do you need help finding art that will fit your card? Or do you just want feedback from the community on your entry? You're in the right place! Remember, although you are allowed to make minor tweaks to your entry after you've submitted it, you're only allowed one submission per week, so make sure that you've settled on your card for sure beforehand.
Discussion! Do you have thoughts on other people's entries? Are there directions you don't like that you're seeing too many people take? Or directions you'd like to see more people take? Would you like to help others and contribute to a greater community understanding of Hearthstone card design and balance? This is where you want to be!
All of that said, please refrain from the following:
Posting TONS of Ideas. Discussion topics become an absolute mess if everybody is posting a dozen different ideas. Please post not more than 3 distinct ideas at a time. Any more than that and we'll have to delete your post.
Advertising Your Entry. Please don't pop in here just to advertise your entry only to never be heard from again. This includes only asking short, generic, or insincere questions like "Thoughts?" or "Do you think this is interesting?". Yes, getting feedback on your entry is one of the purposes of this topic, but we're not just here for other people to help you. We're here for you all to help each other. 12 hours after this competition begins, there should be plenty of other posts here for you to give specific feedback or for you to comment on a trend. If you post your entry for feedback after this time and do not also offer some form of substantial commentary, critique, or praise of others' work, you may find your post deleted.
Plagiarism. Many people post their ideas here before finalizing them in the submission topic. Directly plagiarizing those ideas to post in the submission topic yourself is absolutely not acceptable.
So, without further ado, have fun and get creating!
This is a card I made for my adventure that people like a lot, and I was pretty proud of. The card was designed to promote the Beast druid archetype:
The synergy here should be fairly obvious. The two random 1-Cost Beasts are designed to give more targets to trigger things likeDruid of the Fang and Mark of Y'Shaarj. How is the balance, though? I'm also thinking of coming up with a better name. This was a D.E.H.T.A. tie-in in my adventure, but it doesn't have to be here.
I remember a creation I made on my 2nd card forgue, that made an infinity supply (or big) of beasts whenever it recieved damage, here it is, I valorate it as OP, but any suggestion to stats is appreciated.
The Insects:
It has synergy for making synergy with Beast related buffs, may be minimal, but its very effective for flooding the board for some AoE buffs, or protecting a minion, but these can be a trouble. But I am unsure, as I said, about the balance.

For this week, your card must be a beast =0=.
Balance wise, i don't think this is op, just curious whether the random 1-cost beasts include hunter's ones?
Since most of the 1-cost are 1 hp, maybe a random 2 or 3 cost beast is better since when you play this card, your opponent is likely to be on 4-6 mana crystal, clearing some 1 hp may just be too easy?
You misread the restriction. It was an 'or' clause, not an 'and' clause. Note that none of the examples given are Beasts.
The random 1-cost beasts would include hunter ones. I don't think it is better to summon 1 stronger Beast than two smaller ones. You are more likely to keep one of the weaker beasts alive than one larger one, since players usually prioritize removing larger targets.
I have had this idea for some time now, it's probably not the most original one though:
I'm not sure if it's impactful enough, maybe it should be 4/3 and give +2 Attack/Health instead. My only concern with bigger stat gains is that it could be broken with Fandral Staghelm. Feedback is welcome.

Insect could be a whole new tribe in addition to beast!
Love for: Deathrattle: Summon four EXOTIC insects. (one of each) to be completely balanced.

Because this interacts with itself, people will mostly just play it as a stronger Anodized Robo Cub, rather than using it to buff other Beasts.

I think is very balanced, the Combo with Fandral doesn´t matters, it requires just too much work to do it, at most, giving +1/+1 to the Panther, but nothing else, I find it pretty balanced, stat-wise and other things.

Trying with simplicity this time ;) Not sure if it's too slow (or even OP?). The Bloodscalps recides in Stranglethorn Vale (which I presume most a familiar with, but not all - I know), so they obviously have access to all the monkeys and raptors they need... or something along those lines.
it is either a beast specific Innervate with restrictions or a beast only Mark of Nature that gives +2 to health. Individually the effects are under powered, but the versatility should make it playable and useful.
it should fit the theme this week since its art features a beast and its effects apply only to beasts.
Any balance suggestions or if anyone can think of a more thematic name (maybe: prideful roar, bestial pride, the king's roar...etc.)

technically the second part should be worded as ; or a Fierce Monkey. when considering the precedent set by Druid of the Flame . Other than being about 1 point above the balance curve (the stats on what it summons are slightly too good) its a great card.
This is from our "Recursion is..." competition way back when. I'm considering tweaking it and resubmitting it. It'd become a Druid card, obviously, but I'm wondering if there's anything else I might could change about it to make it fare better this time than last time. Change the requisite discard from a spell to something else? The most obvious answer to keep it in theme here is to have it discard a Beast, encouraging Druids to run more beasts. Hmm...

I think the main problem with it is that discarding cards is really bad. This kind of thing could only work in Warlock. Definitely don't change it to discarding a Beast, since that would preferentially discard higher Cost Beasts you had been saving. Also, by being a sticky Beast, it already promotes Beast Druid. I think a better trigger would be destroying things in your deck. Like, if you had another Deja Vulture in your deck, it would summon that one when it dies.

Agree, this card's state is not too over the bar, maybe something like placing it back to your hand as its deathrattle will even work?
personally would remove the attack buff and give the minion stealth until your next turn. so the wording would be like this:
Freeze a minion. If it's a friendly Beast, give it +2 health and Stealth until your next turn.
this would give beast druid a control aspect (since you could freeze enemy minions) and it would ensure that one of your beasts manages to stick on the board (Stealth prevents targeted removal while a +2 to health should boost most minions above the common AOE removal for their respective mana cost) so that you can utilize the beast synergy.

Well, does it summon beasts not Squidward?

The joke is you.
In case you get the cost reduction/coin/innervate to combo it with 1 savage roar
Damage = 3+6+8*2=25
With 2 savage roar
Damage = 3+6+8*4=41
Welcome back my savage roar EMPTY field OTK.

For it's cost, I'd think Bite is better.
Maybe give your hero immune this turn as well?
