It's generally better to not craft epic cards like Force of Nature if you can help it because you have a better chance of just unpacking them at some point. But Combo Druid is really good.
at one point you have to craft the deck you wanted or you have to wait another 2 years to get the missing cards from boosters. id never craft a rare from a set im currently buying, but legendaries and epics id craft asap.
that said, the most value is getting the druid combo, because its been always a good deck.

I'm just worried because I'm constantly opening classic packs that I'll open of those epics one day instead of legendaries. I opened a pack yesterday and got Ice Block and luckily I didn't craft them.
If i craft a combo druid deck then I'll need to craft 2 keep of the groves, 2 Darnassus Aspirant, 2 Force of Natures, Ancient of Lore and Living roots.
Question? Are you opening packs right this second? Or just playing hearthstone? Cuz if you really wanna play a good deck like combo Druid--today--then just craft.
think of it this way: if you open an epic later by some very unlikely chance, you'll just get 100 dust. The same 100 dust you'd get from any other poor epic. If your goal is to collect every card the most efficiently then I understand your point. But im' guessing you'd rather play midrange/combo Druid more than waiting years to collect every card
math: if you craft epic and then open it later you "lose" 300 dust. However, it's more likely you'll open 3 of the many other crappy epics (worth 300 dust) than opening one ancient of lore
Also, all the dust (except if you get a little from arena runs) you have comes from having extra cards. That's what dust is for...
im currently in a similar boat, trying to decide whether to craft Ysera or the CW epics. Since I need both for control warrior deck I'm waiting to get at least one or two of the 4xbrawl/shield slam epics. But if all you need is 800 dust to make midrange/combo Druid I'd say do it. It considered by many the second best deck in the game.

I think i need more than 800dust
2 FON = 800dust
2 Keeper = 200dust
2 Darnassus Aspirant= 200dust
Ancient of Lore = 400dust
2 Living roots = 80dust
Total: 1680dust
I do want to play combo druid since I only have 3 ranked wins in druid compared to others which are around 100wins.
I meant Control Priest but now i get why CP is not used :P
