So now mage has a permanent Primordial Glyph but you can't choose the spell. It'll for sure make people mad and blizzard keeps printing random RNG fiesta bullshit. It doesn't feel as powerful as you could get terrible spells or spells that won't help you when you generate them but still, having a button that pretty much draws you a card and reduces its cost by 2 every turn seems pretty solid, not meta breaking but will for sure see play.

About the card, it is very boring but people will find a way to cheese it with Mana CycloneSorcerer's Apprentice (which is calling for a nerf to not let cards cost below (1) or make it that the first 1-3 cards cost (1) less)

What’s ascendant scroll do?
Seems ok.
like some theory in this forum said, reno is a mage now lol
It wasn’t a theory.. one of the game devs said it
Seems ok.
Ascendant Scroll is a 2 Mana Hero Power that reads “Add a random Mage spell to your hand. It costs (2) less.”

2 mana: Add a random Mage spell to your hand, it costs (2) less
Seems alright, since mage already cast a lot of spells with Mana Cyclone.

Does puzzle box of yogg-saron auto completes this in one turn?
Praise Yogg!
Called this quest here.
Seems like it could be okay. I mean, you do get "infinite value."
I wonder if the Reno card will have some interaction with the amount of random spells you've played.
Sorry, but saying “randomness will be part of mage quest” hardly passes as “called this quest here”.
Did you get closer to calling it?
No. You have to cast the spells yourself. The puzzle will count as 1 cast spell.
Release the Kraken!
Value generator hero powers are very strong according to recent history of Hearthstone (Rexxar, Hagatha) so this card is probably very good
We casino mages are getting spoiled! Thank you Blizz.
What does that have to do with... anything?
What I don't understand is why do mages get discounts on random RNG **** as well!? Primordial GlyphUnstable Portal. Meanwhile a similar cost spell like Shadow Visions doesn't (and rightfully so), Chittering Tunneler damages your faces, etc....

Should be said that this card has anti-synergy with Mountain Giant, which is a pretty significant hurdle.
cast cheap spells, Mana Cyclone for 0 mana and get everything back, no hurdles.
Yes. With a perfect opening, you're right, that can happen.
