This change is irrelevant, Control Warrior isn't good because of Archivist Elysiana and if you think about it for a minute the card is only relevant on the mirror, on no other match-up is she even needed, let alone needed to be played twice (It was also good vs Control Shaman which btw can now outlast Control Warrior) so this nerf effectively changes nothing. Yes, the Warrior mirrors are not gonna be 1 hour long and go till the max turns and end up on a draw but for every other MU in the game Control Warrior still plays the same slow game and as I said, for almost any other MU Archivist Elysiana was borderline useless, like you almost never got to the point of actually needing her or her being relevant at all.
Control Warrior has other problems like Dr. Boom, Mad Genius, the card is just insane, it wins games on its own, the difference between games where you play Dr. Boom on curve and not is ridiculous, you get 2 very OP hero powers on 7 armor and discover a mech, 2 decent ones in summon 3 1/1s with rush and 3 damage ping and only 1 bad one in deal 1 to all enemies and on top of that all of your mechs get rush, this paired with cards like Omega Assembly, Omega Devastator and Dynomatic are what make Control Warrior super strong and absolutely disgusting to play against, not fricking Archivist Elysiana a card that makes longer an already long af and miserable mirror and that's irrelevant in the other 99% of the match-ups.
I really don't understand why people were calling for and Elysiana nerf, as I said the card is just relevant on the mirror and if you choose to play Control Warrior, you're already setting yourself to play long games so you'll play like 20 minutes less on the mirror with this nerf, congratulations, this is literally the only thing that this nerfs achieves, on almost every other match-up Control Warrior is exactly the same deck and will still be a problem. And I say almost every other match-up because now Control Shaman can outlast Warrior due to Shudderwock abd it will become the new fatigue deck, which means nothing cause decks like Conjurer's Mage will become stronger with the rogue nerfs and Control Shaman struggles against those decks that can play multiple big minions.
Once you get into the second Elysiana, regardless of who the opponent is or if you are Shaman or Warrior, it mostly ends in a draw at max turns played. It's a pointless game. Warrior has too much removal and armor. Shaman has too many ways to heal. Bouncing her back or Shuddering new cards is pointless.
That card is dead now, every warrior will go back to running the bomb package. Rogue is getting hit hard so there's no reason to play control warrior over bombs.
Elysyana is a nerf oriented to make ladder a bit less "Ultimate Resident Sleeper" and tournaments a bit more enjoyables to watch, it actually
I don't know how much times i said this, but, DR Boom Mad genius isn't broken by it self, sure i would make only 1 mech each turn had rush or just mechs on thej deck, but over all, it is a heroe card, in a meta where just 3 classes have Hero Cards, and the other two sucks in comparison, The real fail from blizzard was spread hero cards each expansion instead of make another hero expansion like Knigths of the Frozen Throne, i'm happy that they didn't make it cause hero cards usually are auto includes, but it was a miss to keep pringting them without making a fair expansion to all clases

You just said it, so it effectively does something. The nerf isnt meant to weaken the deck, only to shorten the games. You had to play elysiana twice just to realize who's gonna win in the mirror. And gave absolutely no chance to other decks to win in the very late game.
Thats all the point of this nerf, to save up game time that was wasted and unnecessary for every casual player and to improve the esports/competitive scene. "Warrior mirrors are a miserable affair at the moment and a massive turnoff due to the Elysiana/Brew/Banker degeneracy"

Dude I don't want to play a Warrior mirror even if it doesn't have Elysiana lol I can guarantee you that everyone playing Control Warrior feels miserable just by queueing that match-up, the Elysiana is just the cherry on top. Not to mention that as Ace1a now there's very few reasons left to play Control Warrior over Bomb Warrior cause rogue was also nerfed and one of the few match-ups that wasbetter as a control warrior was actually rogue, the others being the mirror and maybe something like zoo (which no one plays and it can actually tech a lot of mech to make it hard for the warrior).
It makes it so that the only class that can pull off multiple battlecries with her in standard is shaman. Shaman can't build up ten tons of armor so going deep with them feels less shitty and less like you can't win in any possible way. Also the second round of Elys is random cards.
My control shaman package ran double hecklebots just to deal with warriors with Elysiana. It will target what it's intended to target. Bomb warrior is more vulnerable than control and control warrior is no longer king of control mirrors.
I have been playing bomb control warrior for a few weeks without Elysiana and it has been working wonders. Freeing up 2 dead cards improves your chance vs most common decks. And you can still win in mirror match-ups because you can apply more pressure, and they naturally assume you are playing with Elysiana.
