I try not to dust legendaries as I don't have them all. So I don't want to dust them and then just get it again on my next legendary of that set. However, if I get golden legendaries I don't want I dust and make a better one. When I opened up golden Harrison Jones there wasn't much weapon removal played so I figured I'd trade him up for something more useful. Then a week or so later they announced the legendary weapons of Kobolds and Catacombs... I was thinking maybe I should have kept that Jones after all. A few days later I hit another legendary in a Classic pack... non-golden Jones! LOL
There are a lot of legendaries that are auto-dust. the list is way too big to tell you but just keep all the legendaries you have until you know for sure that you won't bust more packs open from that set, then kill the horrible ones, the list should be pretty obvious.
Rend Blackhand has use in Wild dragon decks, though he has gotten worse with time.
The Voraxx is extremely good in quest Paladin or just a really good card to use in a Control Paladin with Spikeridge Steed. There's other uses but those are the main ones.
Dragon Soul is pretty good. I don't get why that's even on this list.
Moroes has uses but gets shit on by AoE. Tbh I dusted his ass a long time ago and I haven't regretted it outside of a few tavern brawls.

I'm here to kick ass and play cards, and I'm all out of ass.
I actually like the darkness given the number of draw druids out there. I run it in my Tess deck and double play it using Valeera, shuffling 6 candles into the opponent's deck. When any 3 are drawn, both Darkness awaken and usually my opponent can only kill 1.
Considering that only a handful of legendaries per expansion end up useful, they are too many bad legendaries to even start counting. And many get worse over time because the game has moved on.
Then again, it's worth mentioning that the developers apparently like supporting bad legendaries, and sometimes, it's thanks to inventive deckbuilders that previously bad cards start to shine, like King Krush, Hadronox, Prophet Velen or Master Oakheart.
You better believe that someday, we get a card that reads "Battlecry: If Millhouse Manastorm died this game, your spells cost (0) this turn".
How is Ozruk bad? Even by playing 2 elementals it gives you a 5/15
Ozrukis literally one of the worst Un'goro legendaries and I'm quite certain it will never see any sort of competitive play as a 9 even 5/25 is slow as heck and literally gets removed by most classes the turn after it's played.

LOLzz some of you people will be waiting forever for some of those cards to be useful...aka they never will be. It's really bad advice to tell someone, especially a new player, to hold onto a Legendary they can't use right now and is obviously only ever going to be useful in some fringe meme deck if at all. So keep holding on to your Temporus and Duskfallen Avianas, etc. I laugh. The ONLY reason to hang onto those type of cards is if you are set with dust and have all of the decks you want to play.
I personally dusted cards like Millhouse Manastorm (it was golden too, RIP) The BeastBlood-Queen Lana'thel and Nat Pagle. There are plenty more useless legendaries out there, or just really niche. More often than not you can put the dust to better use :0
I got a golden Millhouse too(also gold shaman and warlock quest), but Nat has had plenty of use just not recently. He was used a lot in early HS.
Nat was used a lot because that was before he was nerfed. Used to be at the end of your turn instead, which was WAY better.
I agree with allotted except for one, splintergraft, he can be used quite effectively in quest druid, which, if made right can have about a 53-54% win rage in ranks 15-13 wild.
Also, man you really did your research with that list.
Probably mentioned already but Duskfallen Aviana. There is no way for this card to help you as if you play it normally the opponent gets its effect first, letting them say pyroblast your face then polymorphism Aviana. Any card that could cheat this out would be better served cheating out a card that doesn’t help your opponent deal with your board.

The only thing this card maybe work is in a Tess deck but they never are in Standard at same time and Wild you don't have time to wait a good spin.

I'm quite surprized it's 2nd page of this thread so far and no one mentioned Nozdormu yet
I think you should dust every legendary that's not in a tier1 deck and then regret it later, maybe in 2/5 months
Top deck is cheat
For a couple of "bad legendaries" Dane Hearthstone has made them usable. I.e The Voraxx, Wilfred Fizzlebang, and Gazlowe
Casper Skye
All hail Yogg-Saron, Hope's End
i think Nozdormu can be fun
Nozdormu isn't unplayable.

Ozruk is only decent as a late game "Discover" you would never put him in a deck

Rejoice, for even in death, you have become children of Thanos.
