I'm playing Jade Druid and having a blast atm. My issue is that I would really like to have Fandral in my deck, given it always happens that I could Nourish for cards and mana and instead I just Nourish for mana because I get Crypt Lord from Oaken Summons (when it could be Fandral). Now, I know that my Jade Deck and Fandral are rotating next April, so I can't decide if it is worth to craft it or not. I have 1700 dust which could be used to craft Fandral or complete my Aggro Pally deck (which would lack only Leeroy and Val'anyr). Anyway, what are your thoughts?
I'm completely F2P, I've been able to get several decks assembled thanks to Arena.
Are you going to be playing the Wild mode once Fandral rotates out soon? If so, he is worth the dust for sure....just remember a new expan is coming in late March, or early April and Fandral leaves Standard with it.
I have him and he is a cool card that helps but he is always removed immediately. Usually underwhelming too. He is rotating soon so if you only play standard don't do it. If you play wild he is a good craft for jade druid since the most common and easy combo is Fandral and Jade idol. Playing Fandral on turn 4 and Nourish on turn 5 is always the dream but he is always removed so it is always safer to do Fandral/jade idol combo
Fandral is too weak these days. Back when you could play idol and discover 2 cards for just one mana on the same turn it was much easier to extract value from him.
He will probably be plenty strong in Wild as choose one remains a staple feature in druid and blizzard will forget to balance cards around him soon.

Look at this thing and let me know what you think!
I played Jade druid in Wild and hit Rank10 with it most of the time (i dont play much... so i dont aim for rank 5)
Fendral can be nice, but the combo (turn 4 Fendral and turn 5 ramp) works like 1 out of 10 times, because he eats the removal right away. It happens a lot more that i combo him with Jade Idols or (and that happens most of the time) I use him with Nourish at the end of the game, draw 3 and with the extra mana i can play the jade idols that i then draw to refill and create a board at the same time.
The main problem for this deck is that Cubelock gives you a really hard time, because you cant get enoth stuff on the board to clear all the taunts before you die.... so with the way the meta is i wouldnt recommand to craft him. The fact that they printed Branching Paths (cast twice and not pick A or B) also makes me wonder if they will print cards that work with him in the future.
Since you're totally F2P i would wait for the next release and invest in those cards, because they will stay and define netdecks for the next 2 years (so if you wait 3 month you get a lot more value from your dust).
Tar creeper is a cheaper 3/5 taunt. I know Fandral doesn't have taunt but that is essentially what he is. No one would leave him up on turn 4 if they can kill him.

Put your faith in the Value!

If you only play standard, no, he is in one of the sets that will be rotated out of standard this year.
