People called Tar Creeper trash because "boo it doesn't have good attack." This will fit nicely with Taunt Druid.
Huh? Who was calling Tar Creeper trash during its reveal. I remember most people saying it was the best designed anti aggro card. As for this card, why would you ever play it over Sen'jin Shieldmasta or Shellshifter.
Actually I would like to take my comment back. Thinking about it more I just realised how truly unnecessary that drawback is and really its a senjin shieldmasta with 1 extra health, if anything senjin is actually better because it can attack freely without being restricted by a weird drawback.
So are you telling me that the guys who revealed this card wasted all this time revealing a card 1 piece at a time just to milk the views for their stream just for it to be bad/mediocre? AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!
It's +1 health over Sen'jin Shieldmasta, in exchange for its drawback. This would normally be good imo (there are plenty decks that don't care about early-game damage) but we've been spoiled by Tar Creeper, which has a similar drawback of not being good at attacking... I don't think this will see play as long as Tar Creeper is an option.
Okay, I've got doubts about this one. The fact that they gave it the highly limiting effect with only 4.5 mana worth of stats for 4 sucks, and by turn 4 you probably haven't stacked up that much armor unless a bunch of other minions have been keeping your enemy's damage away. Playing Gnash on turn 3 likely won't be much help either, because if you use it to remove a minion the armor is likely going to disappear as soon as it appears. This card definitely has potential in Arena and is generally strong against Aggro, though, and could even make up for the downfall of Spreading Plague, who knows. All I know is that outside of Taunt Druid (maybe) it's not gonna have a ton of presence in any Midrange or Ramp style Druid deck. It's sad, really, just seeing how much potential this card could have had if things went another way.
Because of how stupidly unnecessary that drawback is, this would have been way better at least as a 3 drop. that way it literally isn't just a sen'jin shieldmasta with 1 extra health and a bad drawback.
Proof that the dev team has run out or ideas and is so terrified by how profoundly they've misjudged cards like UI, Plague, Patches in the past that they are willing to preemtively tank an entire set rather than consider nerfs again.
Wouldn't even put this in a Hadronox deck; if anything, only if its the best choice from Stonehill Defender

Tar Creeper basically does the same thing, only for 1 mana less. One mana for 1 extra health? Yeah its bad.
I'd rather play Sen'jin Shieldmasta
Mmm
Total crap. A 4 minion that can’t attack. Sure it has Taunt. So what. Dust it
Shouldn't this have the elemental tag on it?
Worst card in the expansion so far, at least the other bad cards are fun or unique. This one is just worse than a vanilla card.
This card is SICK. If it didn't have taunt it'd be useless

Taunt makes this card playable, if only barely. Otherwise it would be crap.
i rather play this frickin' Silithid Swarmer thing than this, just not worth it whatsoever

Patches says ,"I wipe my arse with this card". Arrrrrrgh!
Uh... just play Shellshifter instead?

Terrible, UNLESS there is a 5 mana card you always want to play on curve that gives 3 armor.
But you can combo this with Keeper of the Groove!.... I'll show myself out .
