I'm not crazy about this card for two reasons: One, Hellfire exists and while it isn;t the best board clear it's still a fairly good counter for aggro decks. Two, if you played this on turn 4 or 5, you have no cards to deal with your opponent and around that point is when some of the more powerful cards start to rear thier ugly heads. Maybe it isn;t bad, but it concerns me.
This might be the second best card after the Priest Dragon revealed so far. Quest WL might actually be a thing with this! Clutchmother and Silverware Golems can make up for it.
The low cost allows for an early comeback, when you would otherwise be dead if you had to wait till 8 with Twisting Nether
Amazing with the Lakkari Sacrifice. Maybe even make it playable at turn 5-6 consistently.
The low cost allows you to easily pair it with one or two Malchezaar's Imps for instant return of your hand.
Cons:
Having a good card you don't want to discard like Bloodreaver Gul'dan, you can't avoid discarding it.
You discard your entire hand. If you don't have either the Quest completed or Malchezaar's Imp, you might have a hard time actually swinging with this amazing removal card.
The imp will die, you don't draw cards from discard if he dead.
It lives boys. My questlock deck can stop being a meme. Quest warlock desperately needed some way other than defile to deal with an early board. Now we have cataclysm, a card that hits a reset button and let's us get that quest done on curve. Who cares if you discard your entire hand, you already accept that possibility in your heart every time you play howlfiend, at least this way you know you are going to hit clutchmother and the silverware. If this works with malchezars imp than you can just complete quest while reloading your hand.
This card reminds me of the old Astral Communion decks. In both cases you ideally want to discard your entire hand as quickly as possible, just for different reasons. The former was built in a way that most topdecks could be way ahead of the curve, whereas this card allows for quick completion of Lakkari Sacrifice which, as early as turn 5/6 could provide a serious tempo swing. And if Malchezaar's Imp does interact with it the same way as it does with Deathwing, you don't even have to worry about topdecking. Sure, there are cards which you wouldn't want to discard but the same held true for the druid deck. Difficult to rate this card properly, maybe there will be more support for the Discard mechanic? Personally, I am still no fan of it though.
I accidentally created a spoiler somehow and don't know how to delete it from my phone. Sorry.
I play Quest Warlock at rank 4-5 and this card will be huge for it. If it works with Imp then I predict it will push Quest Warlock to a respectable Tier 2.

I think this card will be at bare minimum a one of with lakkari sacrifice. Possibly one or two more discard cards like doomguard for aggro or fellhound for anti aggro.
I never thought id see the day but ill say it now.
DISCOLOCK WILL ACTUALLY BE GOOD (theoretically)
It's absolutely a 2-of. You are guaranteed to start with the quest, then you must hard mulligan to get Cataclysm to play on turn 4 and play the quest on 5. If it comes any later, the percentage chances of you winning the game go down every turn you don't have those 3/2s on the board to trade or go face. I believe it will still be an 'all in' kind of deck. Drawing the 2nd Cataclysm, let's you reset the board once or makes for a good discard target.

If Cataclysm is consistent with current cards, Malchezaar's Imp will draw you cards. Even Soulfire on your own Malchezaar's Imp will draw you a card, and that card has the same syntax as Cataclysm
Going to be fun finally getting to play with Lakkari Sacrifice!
It’s pretty damn good if you can complete the quest on turn 4.
Release the Kraken!

4-mana board (and hand) clear...wow! This is extremely strong, potentially meta-defining and will stick around for 1 year.
I hate the concept of discard warlock, so I pretty much hate this card already, from a Warlocks point of view and from a non-warlock point of view.

Imp Dies too. You don't draw in this situation.
Until Blizzard fixes the Discard mechanic, I personally do not think Discard Warlock/Quest Warlock will be really viable in any form.
If you need a Wild deck that is fun, competitive, high skill, and low RNG, check out my Highlander Malygos Deck!
interesting, rather try to pull off treachery doomsayer in non disco-lock tho

Way to fix a stupid, terrible quest in the most ham-fisted way possible, Blizzard!
10/10, would fist that ham again.

Supports quest warlock.
Good effect, 4 mana destroying all minions is pretty powerful.
ART IS AWESOME!
i like it! some potential.
After DotA 2's Cataclysm, that card didn't suprised me.
Lose yourself~

Tired of RNG not discarding the card you want? Just throw the whole damn hand away!!!! XD
Hi i'm Tyler and I play hearthstone and watch anime.
Sometimes i make cards. I'd like to do that for a career one day if ever possible.
Silverware golems give you the tempo to play it on curve with the quest
