I think this card will be pretty good versus aggro, you can use it to get rid of an earlygame pirate / whatever, or you can upgrade it to use it versus control better. Also synergizes really well with the death knight hero power! love it!
Is it just me, or is the wording a bit ambiguous? "Gain 3 armor to upgrade" might mean to upgrade you have to have 3 armor in a certain instant, but could also mean to have gained a total 3 armor over the course of the game.
For example: on some turn you use your hero power (gaining 1 armor) and then hit some enemy minion (with above zero attack, so you lose the 1 armor you just gained). Next turn you play Claw. Overall, you have gained 3 armor, but currently you only have 2. Do you get the upgrade or not?
Maybe, but what use will it have. Why would I put it in my deck?
it means feral rage is very good then and you would want to feral rage for armor if you want to deal 6 dmg to a minion instead of using 2 removal spells or you would want to armor up with feral rage just to have a 6 dmg removal for 1 mana in your hand.
my guess is that it doesn't jump in tiers ever since the change last patch. with "cards that don't exist yet in hand can't trigger"

At first I thought it is a Warrior card, and I thought that it was kinda fine but still bad, but now that I see that it is a Druid card, it is absolutely terrible
is iffy because there's no telling how it will actually work. DO i need to gain 3 armor in a turn? or over the course of the game? does it need to be in my hand? Can I get both upgrades at once by gaining using Feral Rage?
More than likely played in a big druid style deck which would give it a lot of stability. Geist won't be an issue as it's not played in that many decks. Even so once Jade rotates out Geist is nearly a dead card at that point and this one will be around for quite a while. Certainly makes some cards that druid never looked at worth playing.

Could be decent, could be too clunky

why do druids get such low mana spells with a big impact. Upgrade to grater and its a 1 mana fireball (vs minions)

0/3. Each time you gain 1 armor, il adds 1. When it's 3/3 it upgrades.
Same for the lvl 2.
I don't think il will upgrade 2 times if you gain 6 mana for this reason.

I find this card promising. Druid lacks removal, it is a 1 mana 2 damage spell (although azure Drake is not a staple any more) and has the potential to be a 1 mana fireball. Feral Rage , Earthen Scales and of course Malfurion the Pestilent are all usable cards and synergize with the spellstone. And even as a Lesser Jasper Spellstone it is acceptable. Maybe a comeback of Malygos Druid with Gadgetzan Auctioneer (although no Aviana , no Emperor Thaurissan and nerfed Innervate makes it unlikely).
But anyway, I think it is one of the better cards released so far.
