"It's so broken, it gives you a 5/5 and +4/4 Buff with Taunt for 7 mana, It's way too much of a tempo swing for a COMMON CARD, Nerf now please"
The bold letters say it all, it's a common card, it literally costs you 80 dust for 2 of them. It's used in 21% of all Decks in Ranked play, if you think you want it, just craft. Anybody can afford it.
thats actually not a good reason at all. Its good for there to be powerful commons or else the game becomes impenetrable for f2p. Also at a higher rarity it would still be used just as much, at least at lower ranks, as people would have crafted it by now.
so it's a strong card that is available to the new players, isn't this exactly what people complain for? Barrier to entry and all that. Stop complaining it'd be in every deck even if it was epic.
Ran Bonemare as part of an F2P Hunter deck, it always managed to stick in my starting hand, even when mulliganed, and I lost boards to aggro because of a dead card. After I successfully deleted this card from the deck, my winrate has grown significantly (or I started getting better matchups). Somehow other decks, like keleseth rogues and zoolocks, always manage to keep something on the board to play the Bonemare onto. So, it's terrible for me, but when the opponent is running one, it is OP and always useful. A really weird feeling. Maybe I'm just terrible with my mere rank 12 :\
Most mana provides 2n + 1 stats. Bonemare is 2n + 4 or 3n - 3. It woul still be powerful and effective at +3/+3. In its current state, it’s too strong.
Considering that it wasn't considered a real card for constructed when it was first shown, it should give you an idea of how unbalanced this card is. The post above comparing to Houndmaster is important to show the difference in power level. Most, if not all Hunter decks use Houndmaster, but as a class card, you expect it to be slightly stronger than a neutral. The fact that all classes now get access to a Houndmaster that doesn't require a beast is stupid.
I love it when people's arguments against the power of a card is that you can "play around it". Nothing like some good ol' reduncancy.
People hate it because it gives way more value than it's mana cost and you can have two of them in your deck! Put that against "you can play around it" and see which argument is better. The fact that it's common only stands in Arena (perhaps most players that hate it are Arena players). I don't play Arena at all, so I can't really complain about the card, but I see where all the hate comes from.
I love bonemare, but I still admit is godly powerfull, the tempo boost is way overkillm but it´s only good in heavy minion decks, and many decks are like theese, you see planey of this card. And also is busted in arena, it kinda broke the format.
Agreed. People with arguments against it are only speaking of high rolling it, this card is seriously bad if you're already behind. If you're ahead, sure, it can solidify that win but by turn 7 the match is usually going a certain direction anyway, save for control vs control match ups.

Do pirate warrior players get headaches from the skill ceiling crushing their skull?
Keep doing what you do best; it confirms I'm right.
Are you implying playing around cards shouldn't be a thing?
I'm not implying, I'm LITERALLY telling playing around cards is a freaking basic card game strategy and shouldn't ever be brought up as a counter to any particular card when discussing a card's power level. It's redundant to say "playing around it makes it not that powerful" like it's redundant to say "it's not good if you don't draw it".
Keep doing what you do best; it confirms I'm right.
Keep ignoring the facts I stated, keep on refusing to improve and become better at the game, and you will remain a low level player eternally.
The fuck is wrong with you, did you even read what I wrote? I said it's not a problem for me, I said I get where all the hate for the card comes from. You act like you just discovered that you can play around cards.
Here, I'll make it easier so you don't have to scroll too much and get exhausted from it: "I don't play Arena at all, so I can't really complain about the card, but I see where all the hate comes from." It is a problem card in Arena where removal is scarce and playing around cards is not as easy as in constructed.
"It's so broken, it gives you a 5/5 and +4/4 Buff with Taunt for 7 mana, It's way too much of a tempo swing for a COMMON CARD, Nerf now please"

He is refering to the card in Ranked mode, not Arena.

Look at the first post I quote, it's the OP. I made sure to highlight something that should help answer you. People are complaining about Bonemare in Ranked. I don't play Arena, I don't have enough experience to comment on the card in that mode. I do play Ranked, and that is what I can talk about, which also happens to be what the OP is talking about.
You get where all the hate is for the card comes from? From the fact that most players don't play around cards and get punished for it...?
No, I didn't just discover that I can play around cards, that is something I learned long, many years before Hearthstone was even released, it's just a "skill" that I transfered over to Hearthstone, since it also applies to this card game aswell. No matter how much of a basic level strategy this is, it is still one of the biggest issues that plagues the experience of low level experience players. It is a basic strategy that every player should keep in mind, because if they did, people wouldn't be complaining about Bonemare.
OK, I'm sorry I got that wrong. I got a bit carried away.
Still, Bonemare gives more stats than it's mana cost, it doesn't seem to justify the drawback of having a minion on the board. Sure, it's good to suggest playing around a card, there still are people that play mindlessly, but that doesn't lower the power level of it. Hey, many times I like it when my opponent buffs a minion with Bonemare so they both die to Anduin, but still, Bonemare has too many stats. It's not OP, but it's pretty powerful.
This is a moronic topic. If a card is busted to the point where it sees play in every deck, it doesn't matter what rarity it is. It should simply not exist, as it harms deck diversity, and therefore the fun to play HS.

Eh, I have no personal issues with Bonemare. The card is good, actually better than I thought it would be even. If nothing else, between it and Dr. 7 it proves that aggro decks can easily curve out at 7 and not 6 or lower.
But I digress. I think some of the hate actually revolves around the method of "Playing around it", to which there is really only one, don't leave anything on the board. Or at the very least leave the least impactful thing on the board if you can't clear. Which can be difficult. But in my opinion that is why I like the card. The puzzle of it all :D
The card is a swingy card, and people generally hate swingy cards and will complain about them even if they know to play around it. Cause that is what people do, complain about stuff they lost to.

Sure what they say is correct,

Because it's an abomination of a card.

But it's common and neutral. If it was common and class specific then sure, it would be problematic. But it's available to everyone.
so it's a strong card that is available to the new players, isn't this exactly what people complain for? Barrier to entry and all that. Stop complaining it'd be in every deck even if it was epic.
How long did people complain about Dr. Boom?
Bonemare gives a similar tempo advantage, except it's common. Kill one, you still have the other to worry about.
Personally I don't think it's that broken, not broken enough to warrant a nerf. But I can sympathize with the complaints.

It's a problem in arena, another stupidly powerful win more card.
