If you attack first and then cast Cryostasis on it there is no downside. Sure, it's a slower buff, but the freeze effect is going to be gone at the start of your next turn. Also, as already mentioned, if Moorabi is out, you made a copy of something.
That's not true, mate. If a minion is Frozen, if misses its next attack. So, if you attack with a minion and then cast Cryostasis on it, it won't be able to attack next turn.
Ah, so it would be like Frozen Crusher then. But what happens if you don't attack though? Will it still be frozen on your next turn? If so, that makes the card much worse, but on the other hand if it doesn't that presents an odd ordering problem I'm sure would confuse people because there was no incentive to freeze your own stuff before Frozen Crusher, which provided it's own freeze effect.
This card is fantastic on Tar Creeper, Stonehill Defender, a free Thing from Below, the new shaman taunt, and multiple totems you weren't attacking with anyway that you want to stick around. Additionally, the card synergizes with the new legendary, allowing you to steal a copy of your opponent's minion or in conjunction with Doomsayer. It will play a serious role in a freeze/control shaman deck. No doubt. Also works well on many minions in conjunction with Big Game Hunter I bet.
This will be good on Taunt Totem, even without taunt, your totems will be good targets for this card as they generally wouldn't attack the same turn they are summoned anyways so turn 4 plus you can make yourself 3/5 Healing/Taunt/Spellpower totems that don't die "for free".
Honestly this is an interesting way to make totems relevant, in an odd way.
At first I thought this was like the worst card in hearthstone history, but realistically its pretty useful to use on your own taunt minion. Couple that with the new legendary and you get a very versatile card, and versatile cards often find there way into the meta (Hydrologist?)

actually you are both wrong if you don't attack and then freeze your minion it unfreezes your next turn. Unless they changed how that works or plan on doing so a minion who is frozen loses one chance to attack. And if you don't attack with it and then freeze it, that means it instantly lost this turns chance to attack, and so it unfreezes on your next turn.

Just fill your deck with one drops, that is creative deck design, right?
This card is underrated, but probably not good enough without some synergy. I expect we will see a bunch of synergy for shaman freeze but still, I give it a playable for now.

Great design, but maybe not unfair enough for standard. This is the kind of card that definitely pushes the skill level of Hearthstone up a notch though.
Cast it on Tar Creeper, Stone Hill Defender, or Hot Spring Guardian... Their attack is crap but buffing them to a 6/8 taunt or a 4/7 or 5/7 Taunt just ups there value. Playable card.

I think if the freeze control shaman is a thing, it'll see play, if it isn't, it won't. The versatility for freeze shaman this would have is pretty big. Though pretty big in a deck that isn't good is a bit moot. I want it to be good. I like the idea a ton.
I love how people are saying this is horrible. Its pretty nice. You attack with a minion, and cast this and heal that minion for 3 and give it 3 attack to boot. Its 2 mana and meant to be used on taunts. What about the new 2/7 freeze taunter? Sounds like a good plan.
Eh, just seems clunky and awful unless the freeze synergy is real, and thus far it has seemed very underwhelming. If you use it on your own minion you get screwed by silence or polymorph effects, if you use it on an enemy you're doing a 1 for 2 trade unless it's followed up by pretty much only Volcano.
This isn't the greatest card revealed but I really really like this card. What I like about it is that it's extremely versatile. It can be used offensively and defensively. Your opponent has a really big threat and you need to buy another turn? You have a 2 mana freeze. Sure, you're buffing it but if the threat is big enough, another 3 health may not really matter. You have a taunt minion and want to make a bigger wall? You can! You want to get more value our of your acolyte of pain? Here you go!
Honestly, I'm not sure how good this card will ultimately end up being. Even in arena, I'm unsure about this card. I just really like the design. There's some obvious synergy with the new shaman legendary so there is that. I'm going to vote playable but tbh, I'm not sure we'll see this in constructed.

flexible cards tend to be pretty strong.

Doesn't worth a deck slot.

Seems a little bit similar to a card I made some months ago.
By the way I love the way freeze shaman is looking. Can't wait to play it.
