Something some people seem to misunderstand, you have to play the stolen cards. A Swashburgler into Mind Control does not reduce the cost of the weapon by 1, so it's very possible that you'll steal cards you don't want to play, meaning this weapon is potentially too slow.
"AMG BLIZURD TOO LATE, BURGL IZ GONA GO", lol crybabies who cares? There is still wild, mode which smarter people like me play. Real mode with much more fun and randomness, unlike that standard AIDS
Am I missing something or do people really not understand the value of 0 mana deal 9 damage. Yes it is slow, but its not even that bad for the full cost and every rogue plays the 1 mana pirate that steals cards anyway.

What? Burgle was the worst card of that archetype. I played tons of Thief rogue and only ever ran one Burgle. The other cards provide much better support and the new one mana Discover is even better.
educing the cost of this wep to 0 seems easy on paper, but the odds of that happening are close to zero. So assume it'll be a 3 mana 3/3 weapon, maybe a 2 mana 3/3 weapon. Are those good enough to see play?
Obviously a 3/3 weapon for 2 mana is insane value. It's good without the shadow of a doubt. The actual question is if Rogues will have the much needed time to equip the weapon and then get it rolling. The faster popular decks are the harder it probably will be to make the weapon work... even though it's actually very good - but only if you're not dead by turn 5-7. So on average you might be better off with an Assassins Blade.
Spirit Claws sees almost no play now that's is a 2 mana 3/3. It's still considered usable just because it's something you can play early on to remove midsize threats. This card wouldn't cost 2 mana until way later in the game, since you have to activate burgle effects and then also play those cards.
I like the concept of using burgled cards to give you an advantage in a different way, but I don't think this card is a good way to do it.
Spirit claws isn't a 2 mana 3/3.
If it was then it would see more play than war axe.
Played this morning against a Priest. Held onto Hallucination until turn 4 and chose Squashling, which I was able to play 3 times. Next draw was Obsidian Shard and it only cost 1 mana. Cruised to a fairly easy win behind a couple strong taunt cards and a Knife Juggler played early.

If you got the coin, the Mercenaries get going. Vote for The Mercenary for CCC #3.

Highly recommend with Hallucination.
