If you get the card in addition to your existing starting hand, it's good, otherwise it's crap. The effect will trigger quite late in the game unless you have an insane number of Deathrattle cards in your deck, so it's basically a dead card against aggro, and even worse if it takes up a slot in your opener. Not amazing by any means.
This is a medeocre card. And i say medeocre only if it will apear after the mulligan so its a free draw. It can screw your Nzoth, because you need 7 small deathrattles to activate it agaist midrange, dead to aggro, and vs control 40 health is not a big deal especially agaist warrior with hero power.
needs nerf shuffle the quest to the deck like a normal card. this is batshit broken. if you can't alex him after 40 hp you are done. blizzard keeps fucking up with the new cards. first drakonid op now this shit.
If I undertood this correcty, this card should be in your opening hand by default, right? Ok, so this is my question: when you play it, it triggers a "Quest" to be completed later (who knows how). Ok, but the reward, Amara, Warden of Hope, a non-collectible card, is gifted to the player after the quest is completed or immediatelly after you play this spell? And where are the reward sent, in your hand (like kazakus spells) or in your deck (like Elise's map/monkey cards)?
I assumed it was a keyword, sort of like a secret only with the condition (/option - I assume you can mulligan them away?) that they are added to your starting hand.
Quests show up in your opening mulligan and you can choose to mulligan them away. (Mike Donais)
The question I have is will N'Zoth summons count for the quest, I doubt it does since it doesn't for normal quests, but it does trigger some other in game mechanics (knife juggler I believe).
The Quest says 'summon' which is means the N'zoth minions count. If the Quest said 'play' then the N'zoth minions would not count. (Mike Donais)
Anyone ever wonder if all the people that say a good control card is bad and say it's "too slow" and they need to make "faster" cards really isn't just a bunch of aggro heads getting angry and trying to dissuade people from playing it because it's actually really good? Also, demanding the cards are too slow says to Blizz the fan base wants faster cards, so they come out with more............aggro. Sounds like a win/win for aggro players lol. Pretty sure Reno got so much hate because it was "too slow" and you'd be dead before turn 6 anyway, you have to put sub-optimal cards to keep a highlander deck, consistency goes down due to this, blablablabla. Yet, Reno is being begged to enter Classic and it's used in a ridiculous amount of decks. They know the card is scary, so they're trying to turn you off of it before you even try it. Don't let it happen!
TL:DR - Don't believe the garbage, this as well as other quest cards are going to be BONKERS!!!!
With the current state of the game this is a terrible card to play, forcing you to play deathrattle cards in an aggro heavy meta. You will more than likely be dead before you play those 7 cards. (Not to mention giving up your turn 1 for zero board presence)
This time tomorrow, we will be in a Jade Shaman meta. Lacking precognition, it's a bit premature to guess what the meta will look like after the nerfs, the relegations, the loss of three hundred cards, and introduction of 135 new cards.

IM pretty much an exclusive wild player and in Wild this is a meta defining monster! In Standard less so

Amazing can't wait to see what other classes get ( mostly warrior :D )
And I was happy to see Reno getting out...
Is priest really that much of a Nzoth class? TBD... I only used deathrattle cards for OTK velen decks.
Absolutely useless against aggro. "Play 7 deathrattle minions" ? Yeah that sure's gonna happen in a meta where games end on turn4.
I'm still waiting to see any proper control tool and comeback mechanic to substitute the loss of Reno, Brann, Thaurissan and Justicar.

Kaladin's RoS Set Review
Join me at Out of Cards!
Reminds me of an entry I posted to a design competition.
Was something along the lines of "When you have n of xy tribe in play, change your hero to z", Z being a hero with a new hero power and 40 HP

I find it amusing how highly the hearthpwn community has rated this card, while a card like Patches barely got any attention.
