I was really hoping to get a neutral 1-mana minion with more than 2 health and more than 0 attack from Naxx (I know that sounds really odd and specific, but that was one of my biggest hopes) and you've delivered. Now I won't have to substitute in Shieldbearer and hope I can buff it.
I like how his effect is pretty much useless for your opponent for the first few turns of the game. Playing this against a Flame Imp basically nullifies the positives and negatives of both cards(They gain the health they lost from the Imp and the board gets a reset). Also, this works F****** wonders with Soulpriest, combining Mind Blast and River Croc for 1 mana.
im wondering what use will this have in a game. I can only find 3 ways to use this card.
1. use this to trade with 1/2 drop units before the enemy has taken damage. this way the deathrattle wont have any effect. otherwise you have to attack at the very least 3 times before the deathrattle is justified. though thats 3 turns to do a net damage of 1 damage. this is not taking into consideration of buffs because the buff could have been put on any other unit and still did the same damage.
2. using it with Auchenai Soulpriest so that you get a 2/3 for 1 mana and when it dies, it'll do 5 damage to the enemy.
Who cares about the life gain when you can kill and survive vs any 1 drop in the game and trade with most 2 drops in the game before the Death Rattle is relevant? I think this probably takes the place of Argent Squire in a lot of control or tempo oriented decks that aren't concerned with inflicting damage in the first three turns just because it side steps Blood Knight - think Shaman decks.
I also don't think it's necessarily bad in Zoo, that thing technically pumps Undertaker for 1 mana.
2/3 for 1 Mana it´s insane, even with the negative deathrattle.
Yes, how can anyone say otherwise? It's the best 1-drop in the game I believe, though Flame Imp is obviously very close. Definitely best neutral 1-drop.
This card is incredibly powerful in the one drop slot. It will be interesting to see if that five life will affect its playability in an aggro deck. I do not think it will but still something to watch out for.
Ok Turn 9 ->> Auchenai + this one + Baron + double Circle fo healing = Full board clear + free pyroblast into face = perfect finishing combo and great return :D Priests will be taken from ashes into the glory!
Useless late game, but this will be key in Undertaker-based aggro Decks: If you go second, T1 Undertaker -> Coin -> Zombie Chow gets you two 2/3s T1! It is going to be a very good Arena pick (Naxx added a lot of crazy Arena cards, I think) and it is an interesting anti-aggro pick. It also could be worthwhile with the self-silencing guy. Very good card, quite interesting...perhaps an Aggro Priest build?
not true since it is against what zoo is about... burst.... will be instead the opposite, a card against zoo (you dont mind too much about life of zoo and just try to regain board control vs them)
Zoo is not about burst. Zoo is about board control.

Zoo is not about burst. Zoo is about board control.
no zoo is about swarming your enemy with multiple units and going for the face, its not about board control. that would be a control deck cuz its CONTROL the board -_-;

It dies to Flame Imp and is only useful when going first, it has trouble vs an Argent Squire that will be buffed when going first, dies to Squire+Abusive going second (and would heal Imp damage), Squire+Wolf going first.

You forgot to add /sarcasm. Zoo is powerful because of the board control.
Blizzard has just announced Zombie Chow!
I see this as an anti-rush card. Trade early with minions to slow down the rush, before then going to the face.
Thanks you Blizzard

Totally agree. People complained a lot about miracle, they gave Loatheb. They complained about zoos, they created the zombie. Nice card.
Force and Honor
Solid early board control. I like it.
...but what's with the singlet and hotpants? Is there some lore reference that I'm missing?

3. using a silence to negate the deathrattle.
otherwise I cant see how this card is usable.
Hehehe, I found that a little bit odd, too. I'd like to see any explanation for that :)
Force and Honor
Another card for board control zoo.
I am sad.
And if both survive, a next turn Baron Rivendare (not to mention a spare Mind Blast). The dream.

Also stupidly good pick in Arena.

This card is very very good to use against zoo, you can hold and defend until your biggest minions come out!
Aggro Priest is born
I Designed A Card This Week

As pointed out above, it will die quite easily against the zoo buffs.
Sooo... you get a River Crock for 1 mana instead of 2?
You forgot to add /sarcasm. Zoo is powerful because of the board control.
