This Card is OP in wild , this is one of the reasons I want Muster for Battle a part of the classic set, because if not then, Blizzard would keep printing Silver Hand Recruitcards , and Paladin is too strong in Wild with all these token cards since they have Quartermaster and Murloc Knight and all sorts of buffs.
How is it OP in wild when you can just Muster for Battle + Hero Power on turn 10 for basically the same result? Especially if you have Justicar up.
Because you have 4 cards that can get you multiple recruits( muster and stand against darkness) and justicar make your heropower get 2 recruits at the same time , so most of the time you can get quartermaster to trigger on at least 2 recruits that is pretty strong if you ask me, and BoK almost always have a good target, which means a 4mana 5/5 Charge sort of.
You can Muster for Battle + Hero Power on turn 10 for basically the same result AND you can get 5 recruits easily on board ,and there are 2 copies of that card in your deck , together with two Quartermaster and 1/2 BoK.
But Muster is still better in every way while this card is bad unless you specifically combo it on turn 10. With Muster you can at least combo on 8.
People bashing this card without seeing the full set yet? What if we get stronger version of quartermaster who gives every recruit +3/+3? Then everyone will be screaming "OP!!! Nerf"
i want to just say if the Silverhand recruits got charge when they summoned i think even if you only got three or four it would be a much better card because let's face it everything board clear normally goes down around turn 5 or six anyway

I think people are forgetting there is a Wild and Standard format now....This will more then likely be average in Standard and in Wild will be Above average with all the synergy and in Arena will be average as well....Let's hope the rest of the Paladin cards are average so i can stop seeing paladin 10 times in 12 arena games.
Also LOL at all the people crying saying all the cards suck with distress, we've seen like 7 cards out of 134 give it a rest.
More then likely it's gonna go something like this...10 OP cards, 20 great cards, 50 decent cards, 40 below average/or trash tier.
If it's like TGT, it's more likely gonna be like : 1 OP card, 10 OK cards, 123 trash cards.
Personnaly, my main problem for now is the flavour of the cards. This SAD is just not original at all. Nor are the other cards. If the expansion continues to be "let's take Classic cards and change the mana cost" like Polluted Hoarder etc., this expansion is gonna be the lamest ever seen.
We want to see cool mechanics, cool cards, not boring "summon 5 recruits".
And when you want to sell a product, you start by the best merchandise you have. Trying to sell next expansion by showing Polluted Hoarder, Corrupted Healbot and SAD is just silly, those cards are SO bad they should have been announced the last week with the other 100 useless cards of the expansion.

Yeah that's true the cards they choose to show first is pretty damn bad and poor decision making, hopefully there is a new mechanic that's gonna get shown.. Would be nice if tomorrow they don't show trash something that will actually get people buzzing.
I like it. Not because it's a powerful auto-include curve monster like Muster for Battle, but because it's a pure token generator that could find a home it token-paladin archetypes. I'm looking forward to see more silver hand synergy though and wish they had revealed the synergy cards before the token cards.
The good thing about this card is, that its a horrible common for paladin. Which is actually good for Arena. Besides that nothing to see here, nobody will play that even with synergie.

It's not even bad in Arena. Lower chance your opponent has a board clear, and synergises very well with buffs which are easy to draft and considered premium in Arena.
I could see it having uses, even if those uses are to just fill the board with shitty minions to trade into your opponent. Could have some nice synergy with things that are buffed when your minions die.
would be a decent play if you can guarantee to combo with knife juggler, but you can't guarantee that so...

Finally a balanced card for pala-players. :) that its what you deserves after lose the best card for the curve of entire game!
Everyone is bashing on this card. I mean, if opponent doesn't have AoE, it's great.
Fits well into a buff-token-ish Paladin deck which I suspect will be the norm for Paladin after the sets rotate out.

It's absolute trash. Paladin doesn't need more 4+ cards, it needs good early game cards to not get stomped by face hunters and Zoolock

Yes, it's the perfect strategy. Dissapoint at first and then showing the good cards has a greater impact.
In a few weeks, we're going to see Trolden clips with Wild Pyromancer into Stand Against Darkness
stand against darkness = summon 5 1/1 recruits, those will die from c'thun's split dmg FailFish
