so when the exp came out i opened a golden splintergraft and i have saved him for a week not knowing what to do with him. i have made some terrible crafting mistakes in the past and so i do not want to mess this up.
i like to play control best, i am right now on rank 12 (scared of dropping to rank 15), and i am F2P.
i am thinking something for druid, as that is my favorite class, but i am okay with playing something else if it means gaining stars, i am looking for something competitive. and good for wild.
i am thinking baku, or maybe shudderwock, but if someone else can tell me for sure that a legendary is worth crafting than that would be great.

Rejoice, for even in death, you have become children of Thanos.
Don’t craft shudderwock, the OTK isn’t overpowered compared to aggro paladin. It has like a 45% winrate. Since you like to play druid, definitely get the DK if you don’t have him already. I honestly think splintergraft is just too slow, and I doubt he will see play.
just go with the wave of aggro paladin on milion variants if you want stars...or spiteful druid seems to have nice win rate, but i don't play druid so i can't tell how good it is
If you plan to open more Witchwood packs, keep him for now so that you don’t open another one, legendaries are like that, you only dust them when you don’t plan to open any more packs of the expansion (if you do arena you will get Witchwood packs btw)

i already have the hero card, best legendary i ever opened.
and i dont want to keep my splintergraft, i am going to dust him as soon as i know what to craft.
Druid has always been my favorite class as well, and I’ve been playing since a little before the rotation of gvg and tgt. It seems that you don’t play wild, BUT if you ever decided to play this has been working very well for me. I hit legend this season with this build.
I would honestly hold onto him until at least the next expansion - unless you're really hurting for dust and think the right legendary would make a difference in your enjoyment of the game. It wouldn't surprise me if Splinter becomes one of those cards that is suddenly very powerful with the right piece in the next expansion. Plus, any card he creates, is likely to be golden for you so there's that!

F2P + Not readily usable golden legendary = dust = more useful directly playable legendary (Now the period isn't ideal for picking the best legendary as the meta is changing so your best choice would be to wait for 1->3 more weeks)
Only dust him to craft another WW legendary. Baku/Genn are the safest picks.
As a general rule, remember that WW cards are the ones you'll be using for the next TWO years, so you shouldn't dust anything from this expansion, no matter how useless the card may seem. Hadronox is an example from the previous set. In this case, you can dust it if you need another legendary, but only if it's a staple WW legendary (Thus my advice of Baku/Genn).
From a F2P to a F2P :)

I'd suggest waiting at least a few weeks for a settled meta and for any potential nerfs. You'll be able to make decisions in less volatile conditions.
Golden Hero Collections thus far; -
Europe: Druid, Hunter, Paladin, Mage, Priest, Rogue, Shaman, Warlock, Warrior (9/9)
Americas: Druid, Mage, Paladin Shaman (4/9)
Everywhere else: Workin on it.. (0/9)
Wait another week. Shudderwock isn't a worth craft due to the fact it has an under 50% average winrate

I am envoy from nowhere in nowhere. Nobody and nothing have sent me. And though it is impossible I exist. ©Trimutius
You can try the Happy Ghoul combo for the lolz. Or just put him in a Quest Druid deck.
I tried having fun once. It was awful.

I opend golden one too, it seems to be a bit clunky, but it has potential for nice combos.
I wouldn't dust it, unless you have like 0 dust.
Baku honestly is a safe bet craft. Ive had successful with him.
Do or do not. There is no try.
I suggest dusting it and, because you like playing it, make something like a hand-outs deck. Fun, new archetype that isn't all that bad.
Don't dust him. It work on hand druid. Think on a Twilight Drake/Bewitched Guardian combo. I would wait for some time to see if it will work.
Hadronox perhaps?
