Can't believe i got 12 wins with this crappy priest last night. Only 2 spells ! , only 1 turn 2 and just little aoe and was able to win against lot's of mages. It just curved well and i played it like a tempo priest, when i drafted i was like 4 wins max in this meta ...
I post the screenshot for the proof cause even i thought it was unreal
i had an amazing run with this deck ... early game synergies , late game horrors . lost only one game to another crazy ass paladin deck . rewards where nice 465 gold and an un' goo pack with 1 golden common and a rare .
i have to underline how amazing jungle cleaver is in arena ... i was singing every time i drew it ... '' you got jungle fever ... i have jungle cleaver '' rofl .
My first arena run that made it to 12 wins. This deck was really easy to pilot. Very easy to play on curve, with very cheap removal and a decent amount of card generation.
Edit: I don't know why it's listed as a N'Zoth rogue, but I don't think I can edit that.
Such a disgusting deck. Went 12-2 with it. You just basically make an extreme value with Stonehill Defenders. Dinosize helped me win a few early and mid games. Great Elemental synergy too. I only played Servant of Kalimos without effect once just to activate Blazecaller next turn. Sorry if I made someone broke their keyboard :D.
At the end I got two packs 260 gold and King Mukla as rewards. Forgot to screenshot...
again 12 wins with Paladin, but this time without a single Weapon! I honestly didn't expect to get 12 wins with this, well sometimes lucky. had a short d/c in the final game, so could't do screenshots of the deck ingame, only from the rewards.
So I guess picking wild growths is just a thing I'll continue doing now.
Though this is a lot different than my last double wild growth deck, this deck is way more aggro with double living mana and double mark of the lotus.
My 12 win match for instance, ended up with a turn 6 concede by a paladin.
Living Mana is such a strong card to play, the 10-10 stats for 5 mana, or whatever it turns out to be, is absolutely worth losing a turn. It's very board swingy and is obviously MUCH better with a follow up buff.
Good card draw in general, and yeah, draft wild growth boys.
Seems like control mage, but today we have pretty slow meta so such cards as Frostbolts, Primordial Glyph, Fireball, Firelands Portal and Pyroblast allowed me to SMOrc down my opponents very fast. Almost every game i played like a hunter: 1-4 turns - early game garbage and went face with it, 5-8 turns - control the board with Blizzard, Meteor and some taunts, 8-10+ - reach from hand to kill them.
unexpected shenanigans: Crazed Alchemist and Kooky Chemist - reverse my low attack but high health minions to kill they stuff or to go face. Glacial Shard - freeze face or big minion. Hozen Healer - heal my high health minions. Mana Wraith (this little Casper wins me a couple of games!).
Turns out; Discovering a Random Mage Spell is pretty good.
But that aside; my wins were broken down basically like this:
1 Flappy Bird Snowball [v Priest]
5 Direct Damage to Face
6 Bittertide; Crystal Runner or Arcane Giant protected by Counterspells and/or douplicated with Molten Reflection.
Seriously. Counterspell + Bittertide is just disgusting in Arena. In fact; most Arena players seem so reliant on big spells; be it Paladins for buffs; Mages for clears; Shamans for Hex/Volcano, and you can see it coming a mile away; that I'd go as far as to say Counterspell was my MVP. Every game it got something worth playing it; and often resulted in me either getting enough damage in to burn their face down later; or just outright winning there and then because I had a Giant/Hydra on board and Reflection in hand [From Discovery or from deck].
Also; I played against a Shaman at 4 wins with a GvG deck. I sent that slime who was probobly waiting with his Shredders and such to ambush players who don't even know GvG cards in this event a loss. Unfortunetly for him; I've been playing since Beta!
Also; when it come to the discover effects; I actually wound up taking Counterspells; Molten Reflections; Cabalist Tomes and burst damage mostly. 1 Flamestrike.
One hilarious event had me go from Courier -> Crystalline Oracle [Other options were garbage; demon card and Freezing Potion] -> Fire Elemental. The poor Shammy never could have seen that one coming.
A 12-1 Paladin. Absolutely shit deck if you ask me. No 2 drop at all, combined with abysmal cards like Eater of Secrets and Ultrasaur. Somehow got 11-0 before going 12 wins. Probably the Ahune's gift helped me quite a lot.

That's a lot of removal for Paladin. Sometimes, Spikeridged and Dino are enough even without the removal.
Without the influx of weaker players and a free starting win, I doubt this draft ever goes near 12 wins under normal circumstances. TY Ahune + Blizzard
The double SI and backstab were MVP, but there is a lot mediocre cards that hold this deck back.
This is what got me my first ever 12 wins. Thanks Ahune and your Frost(y) Festival.
The deck itself is pretty solid, lots of early game minions curving into board control spells and a couple of bigger threats. I also had some nice (unintended) Elemental synergy going on. Apart from Firelands Portals, I also got some good value out of Stampeding Kodo and Cabalist's Tome that I almost didn't even draft.
I only lost my first match to a Warrior who played Pint-Sized Summoner that I wasn't able to answer immediately which lead to a snowball-ish game to the Warrior's favor. I had couple of close games later on but was able to get that sweet 12. And I was also blessed with some good rewards: total of 415 gold, Un'Goro pack and a Gadgetzan pack.
First 12 in a while, missed the screenshot on the actual 12 but, take my word for it I guess?
Deck List : Rewards :
Spirit Echos MVP, oddly enough. Also Doctor Four obviously, won several games because they simply didn't have an answer and I'd bashed their face in by Turn 6.
I just made it for the 1st time, Vinecleaver ftw!
My very first 12 win deck!!!
A really surprising deck of mostly tier 2 or 3 cards supported by the excellent spells Free From Amber and Mind Control.

Wow 50 minutes for 13 games, that was quick
